Interesting. Normally I'd say don't put your admiral on Demo, but it's either that or an Arquitens... Yeah, I'd still probably put him in a Kittens before Demo.

Generally speaking Aggressors aren't great--I'd probably go for a pair of Defenders instead if you've got them.

Oh, and I'd drop PIC objective for something different--probably Hyperspace Assault, with Demo in there. PIC without Strategic is okay but not great. I only have a couple such games under my belt, but PIC without Strategic seems to result in standoff games more often than I'd have expected. Which are boring and not fun. :)

Adding Skilled First Officer and Reinforced Blast doors to a kitten makes it a cheap and decent flagship. Worst case scenario have a nav token banked and set a Nav Dial you can SFO into and even if he is going speed 1 you can bump up to 3 and notch at the first joint and skedaddle.

And I agree with Ard, Ion Cannon is a mediocre objective. I typically run with capture the VIP. If you set the token right in the middle of the play area you might lure their deployments toward it letting Demo flank easier, and setting a Gozanti right on the deploy line parallel to the board edge you can pretty easily set a nav command and at speed 2 (maybe 3, its been a minute since I did it, but if you deploy 2 and use the dial you will be covered either way) use the extra notch to fishtail your rear end into distance 1 of the token and then dive back toward the edge and run away. It's essentially 50 free points unless they brought both strategic and FCT AND want you to kill their lambda/VCX first turn.

I'll also second the fact that the Aggressors don't belong in a fleet with Gozantis. Just bank a squad token turn 1 and you can handle activating 6 squads for the alpha, and then Jendon should be centrally placed that he won't need to move much to activate one of his buddies in the squad phase. Same with the adv. He will likely be engaged and not need an activation. If you really really want rogue, then look at Morna Kee. She is a real mop up bully and can be put to task on flotillas and other ships that Demo doesn't want to bother with. She also is a second PRIME Jendon target, and frees up 5 points to add RBD to an Arquitens to make it your flagship. It makes your deployment odd, and if that kills it for you, then just adding Ciena and a Tie is 25pts, freeing up 7 points to add either ECM, or SFO RBD to one Arquitens and slap Vader on it. Honestly, this is probably what I would end up doing.

@Thorinrazer ping you in case you are about to set up.

Mid game update, I think I wish I put Vader on demo! ?

Hey, if they’re shooting up your flagship and not demolisher they’re just giving you more time to wreck stuff with it

Beat case scenario is your flagship arquitens draws a ship from Demo and ends the game with like 3 hull hahah

Hopefully it worked out for you. If it does then your welcome, if it doesn't then it was all @Ardaedhels idea!

Blame Canada.
