Random thought....

Friend of mine uses a milliing deck most of the time. 0 damage potential (literally, not even a 1dmg somewhere) and heavy on discards.
Hera stats "After the action phase ends, if that vehicle is still in play return it to your hand" -> would this trigger before the losing condition that sees you have 0 cards in hand or in deck?
if it does, this would effectively make you immune to being milled to death as long as you could get it out of your hand faster than he can discard it.

Have to roll out hitting special and resolve it before they can discard...possible, but not a very reliable way of saving you.

Better than nothing lol

Ancient Lightsaber is probably the most reliable guarantee but you need a blue character to get that in your deck.

Regardless of randomness of that happening or not:

You lose at the end of upkeep if you don't have cards in hand and deck.

Hera's vehicule will come back in hand at the end of action phase, wich is before upkeep, so yes, hera would spare you from losing in this situation.

Playing Hera with wookies, this happened to me against a Rieekan mill deck. Game went 4 rounds of me just having a U wing in my hand with C3PO being key to getting it on the table. Eventually lost because the wookies and U wing couldn't find their damage sides before he could get the discard rolled out and resolved.
