Just updated on the upcoming page.
That most likely means a release date of next week.
Edit: 10/26 is ACTUALLY the anticipated date, I apologize thought that was next week. Been a long week.

Edited by TimathiusOh boy. Closer to getting my *** kicked in every game then ever before!
As an Imp player, is it worth picking up? Probably not.

PS11 Vader and Quickdraw with Harpoon Missiles instead of Cruise.....could be worth it.

For $30? That's my GUNBOAT money!
I'll just borrow one from my brother.

you need 3
And soon we will see whether my gut feeling will be true: whether FFG was waiting for Guns for Hire to be available before releasing a FAQ update.

It makes sense not to release a FAQ before an "Aces" pack like this.
Hopefully we will have both by the end of the month.

I really, really, reall yhope we see an FAQ release next Friday, and I really, really, really hope it has all the Guns for Hire questions in it as well as all the other stuff.
Thweek alone is going to need a page to himself.

We hoped for the same thing for Minefield Mapper when the Scurrg was about to come out....and still nothing :/
I guess this means a "Available Now" article either 19th or 26th?
Then what's this week? Nothing? AGAIN?

Historically, FFG only FAQs the most egregious issues (IG2000 title not available to Tie Agressor) upon a packs release. The actual questions don’t get answered until months later.
So expect to be able to play Guns for Hire without any questions on interactions 6 months from now.
This is good news. As someone who plays for fun and loves arced ships, I have one on order from one of the LGS. Let's hope they bring back some actual piloting in the game again! Woohoo, let's dream the dream within the dream! .....that's currently a nightmare.
Curved. Barrel. Rolls.

Or the week after.
By their own definition:
"The product is being shipped from the FFG warehouse in Minnesota to stores and distributors. This process takes between 7-10 days for the US, or a few days longer in Canada."
I'm surprised they didn't tag it with its release date. They were doing that for a bit. Don't know why they didn't this time.
If FFG has learned their lesson FAQs will be updated with the release of new expansions. I don't get how people think the concept is bizarre.
New ships/upgrades shake up the game. FAQs shake up the game. Do it all at once.
Edit: That said, I think releasing the FAQ the week before the expansion seems plausible, as FAQs have an "effective date" that is usually a week after it is released while most tournaments allow newly released ships to be officially used immediately.
Edited by SkargothWhile waiting for my chance to scoop up GUNBOATS I will love to get this set, because any way to improve lacking ships is welcome. Not as welcome as Imp Vets was, but still welcome.
Don't know about an FAQ but I am waiting for G4H before I reorganize my stupid binder. All new cards from wave 11 and the C-Roc are hanging out in a plastic baggie waiting for a home.
Edit: If you haven't tried out 4 generic Starvipers, you should!
Edited by gamblertubaBest news of the day. I can't wait to get mine. Love the viper from the lore, and I think the Vaksai title will make an interesting counterpart to the viper.

What you are referring to is "Errata," which rebalances game elements, and happens to be published in the FAQ document. There are plenty of legitimate questions on interactions that remain unanswered. FAQs shouldn't shake up the game - they should stabilize it. In a good way. So we're all playing the same game.

No. Not necessarily, Harpoon missiles have a downside, in some way they are a Dead Mans Device, whichh your opponent can use AGAINST you.. So I am not convinced that having more than 2 harpoon missiles in a squad is a good idea.
That said I am ready looking forward to this pack, arc dodging Kihraxzes and Vipers. Dalan Oberos and Viktor Hel.
And MkII Viper is just fun.

You trigger 1-2 already, so the problem is not larger than with one or two

Lately it's been going to "Shipping Now" two weeks out. The new release for next week (Force and Destiny: Ghosts of Dathomir) has already been up. Guns for Hire should be a 10/26 release.

Thought 10/26 was next week, and thats the date we have been hearing from distributors, I will update it.
