Free blank re rolls on TLT, 2 chances to make a eye into an evade (I know I can only do it once per turn) and barrel roll for positioning. What do you think? Too expensive?

Yeah, you'd have to throw the title on it to make this work.
R3 is basically designed to never be used on anything as far as I can tell due to cost, restrictions, etc.
Although 3x Juke/R3/Comm Relay T-70s is hilarious

If I really wanted to make Horton stand out, replace R3 Astromech with R2-D6 and Expertise. That gives you rerolls and focus on both turret shots without requiring your action - meaning you can use and abuse barrel roll at PS 8 to clear your blind spot or line up your next turn's move.

Love the idea of expertise on Horton. Here's my stab at a list with this:
Horton Salm [R2-D6, Extra Munitions, Plasma Torpedoes, Twin Laser Turret, Vectored Thrusters, Expertise] (43)
Chewbacca [Push the Limit, Cruise Missiles, Nien Nunb, Kyle Katarn, Millennium Falcon (Evade Version), Engine Upgrade] (57)
Lots of action efficiency. Horton is basically free to barrel roll all day, and Chewey will be getting up to three actions each turn (PTL plus the strip stress focus from Kyle). Best thing though is that these ships are going to be tough and reliable.
