The FFG online store shows sold out. Two of my LGS's ordered about 8 each, with 5 pre-ordered at each store, so I suspect they've sold out by now too.

My local store sold around 100 cores in about three days

My FLGS ordered around 20 with about 12 preordered. Haven't sold out yet afaik, but our area is rather saturated with stores selling L5R. I expect to see a lot more sold in the near future.

Was, the new money grab may slow it down a bit.

I think it will do better in Norway than the CCG did, seeing as how there is already a Facebook group for L5R in Oslo established after the release event.

But if FFG really thought it would they would have told us before the Cores were out.

After just feels like a set up.

Haven't the numbers for my LGS but they did a buy 2 get 3 action on the core sets. Pretty sure that cleared out the inventory.

My local store ordered 21 core sets and sold out the first day.

Wow, I feel really lucky then. Like a dunce, I didn't pre-order. Picked up a core the first day, went back the next day and got my second. There are around 6 gaming stores in my town. I usually frequent the same one. I paid roughly $3 for my second core. My store has a buy 4 get the 5th (for the average cost of the 4) free "club".

Seems it start to get popular around my area too (French Aquitaine). There's already a pool of players organizing around Bordeaux.
