I used to do that to back in the 90s. Every time I had enough pocket money, to either get some fast food or buy a pack of Magic, I'd go for the magic. It's what kept me slim. Now I have money for both and it's starting to show on the scale.

I personally like the 6 pack assault provided that it goes as it should. If we get 6 packs in 6 weeks, on time, and then starting mid January get a pack for the new cycle and from that point on we get 1 per month.......I'm 100% behind that.

If we get 6 packs in 10 weeks and it's unknown which ones get on time and which ones are delayed 2-3 weeks and then we dont get anything for the next cycle until April or May......that's busted.

Unfortunately the latter scenario is far more likely to happen given the history of this company.

The second option is least likely of the two scenarios. (I say this from my understanding of distribution, and given that all these packs are being shipped to the states together) If there is a delay, it'll be for the first pack, and the rest will follow on time. Resupply though...

That said, we aren't getting the second cycle starting in January

I was contesting the latter half of your statement. Any collection of posters on the internet is the minority. Not just for FFG, but for any group or belief.

Well, sure. Those other groups don't seem terribly relevant to a discussion of FFG's distribution model, though.

I'm coming to terms with this a little more now I am a bit more familiar with the existing cards. I still would rather not buy so much so quickly, but I'm a bit more confident that I'll at least be able to keep up with what the cards do.

I was very excited to hear of the six packs being released in six weeks, and I believe the FFG will hold on a little and will not launch a pack a month starting in January, maybe there will be a break and they will launch the deluxe in March ..

To be honest I would like it to be released before the world championships, where the roles will be defined, so there would be many different decks, because the core is very limited, and I see almost null the chances of clans as lion or unicorn can overcome dragon / scorpion / phoenix / and get good roles.
