If you don't like it, then you don't buy it! And If enough of you don't buy it then the price will go down!

Get over your fomo and you will save mo'dough!

If your dumb enough to buy a season pass ahead of it's release or announced content then that's on you!

If they lie then you have a ligitimate complaint!

Someone's got a bug up their butt. How about you calm down huh? No one here cares about your defense of DLC (Or anyone's attack of it) You just got you're knickers in a twist cause you took a joke seriously. ;)

I'm just surprised how many folks have apparently done exhaustive surveys of the player base of their stores, especially the posts yesterday immediately after the announcement. Tonight will be my first chance to even talk to another local L5R player about it and I doubt there will be a uniform opinion about it among my FLGS's customers.

Usually a vocal minority against can drown an silent majority who is for (or just OK with) something, so I made a poll in the Facebook group to see how people actually felt (as opposed as how they predicted everybody else would feel) and, after a few days, the dust has settled to 60% Positive, 30% Neutral, and 10% Negative. Take that as you will.

Yeah, I knew that when I posted. I just eyeroll hard when I see "everyone at my store says..." five minutes after an announcement.

This is way too much money spent in too little time.

Compared to what?

I don't even own any knickers!

For comparison, I can spend $300 in two months just for martial art training. The ju jitsu gi will run me about $120.

What is costing too much? Either you can afford something or you can't.

Probably compared to the $15 a month people were expecting to spend when they invested in the core set. I mean, it's a fair point. "I want to get into this game and collect ever card. This should cost $120+ 15/month, which I am prepared to commit to. -- Oh, now it's six packs in six weeks? That is suddenly more than I was prepared to commit to, and wish I hadn't bough the the core set in the first place."

Still cheaper than ccgs, but a nasty surprise that may be problematic for some people.

Honestly my weekly breakfast taco budget is more than the cost of the packs.

Why can't they still spend just $15/mo?

Because people think they should have everything right now?

As far as I've heard we don't know if this is disrupting the normal release schedule. If packs continue releasing 1/month after the Imperial Cycle, then spending $15/month will leave them unable to collect 4 packs without going overbudget. It's not an unsolvable problem, but you can see why people would feel misled.

If there's a gap after the Imperial Cycle, then you are correct, though I feel like it'd pose other problems on its own.

Personally, no I can't.

Running a business I picked up two relevant things;

People are always going to complain.

If nobody complains about your prices, you are not charging enough.

Really, I think FFG is on the right track.

I'm concerned about your diet.

Not enough tacos?

. I just need some more information. How much are you spending on your dinner tacos per week?

Follow up question: What is your TP budget. In terms of money and time spent using?

Actually, $0. All of my tacos are breakfast tacos, regardless of time of day.

Breakfast tacos.

Big difference.

Then I feel like you are probably in the clear.

I can't believe the Crab and Dragon are wasting time talking about tacos while some of us are concerned with issues that actually matter!

For instance, is no one else concerned that we've had the entire first cycle announced, but there's still been no word as to when Tsuruchi's showing up?

Is he showing up with tacos?

.....

So are we getting these Tacos at a national chain, or is this a local thing?

Tsu-who?

I feel like that with all these Tacos the Crab need to build a hole in addition to the wall. Whole different type of taint.
