Hi, i have a little question. The action of a shosuro actress brings you a character of the discard pile of your oponent with a cost of 3 max to the conflict, ok until this point. Now, when the conflict ends i retain that character under my control right? and when i bring it can i put fate points upon it. srry about my english.
Shosuro Actress
You retain that character under your control for that turn but you will not be able to add Fate when it enters play. The reason for not being able to add Fate is the phrase 'put into play' instead of just 'play' - 'put into play' doesn't let you add Fate but 'playing' a character does. I wish they had found a different term for 'put into play' since it uses 'play' in it.

I just was explaining the same thing in a different thread, I'm not the only one who thinks this way.
QuoteIt's a legitimate question, because the Learn to Play does not mention 'put' once. 'Put into Play' is an LCG thing though it's not the clearest method, 'put into play' and 'play' sound so similar to the lamen person, that the Rules Reference needs multiple paragraphs just to explain how they are different. Simply making a keyword like 'summon' or 'call' would have made it so much simpler and clearer for new LCG players.
Yeah, MTG used to have that ambiguity about play and put into play, but they changed the in play zone to be called the "battlefield" so now its play vs put onto the battlefield. It would have been nice to see something along those lines here too.
Honor the event vs honor the status vs honor the currency would have been nice to clean up too.

We could refer to it as the Tableau!
