Ysalamiri is it. It just popped in my head that they're described as " furry, lizard-like tree-dwellers" and I started to wonder. I'm still disappointed that Del Toro isn't playing the Grand Admiral but I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled that idea to counter Kylo. I'm probably just reaching.

No, it's called a Porg.
The lady is singularly obsessed with them.
They're actually birds, inspired by the puffins that live on the real life island that was used to film Luke's exile planet.
They taste like porc, don't they?
The internet is for Porgs.
Ha! While everyone was obsessing over the porgs, I stole all of the Salt-Foxes!

My thought as well.
Also, Filoni and the Rebels crew said they did an overt Ysilimari reference in one of Thrawn's first scenes:
Inb4 darkest dankest lord of the sith unparalleled in power since the days of darth jar jar

Thats the trouble with Porgs. Just beam them all into a Klingon D7's engineering deck, that'll teach the pesky Klingons to posion our grain supplies and get rid of the Porg problem.
I think, that if prepared well, the Porg whould be a very tasty culinary dish to eat.
Anyone up for some Pulled Porg, basted in Tabasco sauce?
You've heard of elf on a shelf, now get ready for
AH HE!! AH HE!!
My admiral will make it his life's work to exterminate them. All of them.
We need another mod for Empire at War Forces of Corruption.
I think this guy could use a Porg upgrade.
House pet.
I will have one, and you'll all be jealous.
Fun fact: According to Dave Filloni, George Lucas always hated the Ysalamiri because every living thing was connected to the force. Because of that Ysalamiri will never be canon.
Granted anything is possible but if Dave says they won't ever be canon it's probably a safe bet.
