To un-scar 2 of my corvettes costs 44. Leaving one corvette scarred and one A-wing scarred. So I have 52 points left to spend:

Each repaired corvette receives a TRC. Command cruiser and nebulon receive intel officers. Dash Rendar is recruited to the squadron pool. Costing 7+7+7+7+24= 52

Imperial Corellian Pacification Campaign Report

• Admiral Motti reports minor defeat above Drall.
• Moff Jerjerrod reports rebels in rout Sacorria, at the cost of heavy damage.
• Lord Vader reports rebel forces in full retreat from Selonia, a major blow to the Alliance.
• All Imperial fleets have been reinforced, and an Imperial base has been established on Selonia to ensure peace and order in that region.

• Fresh from his success, General Rieekan has commenced raids on Imperial shipping to bolster the rebel fleets. Moff Jerjerrod has been dispatched to intercept him near Centerpoint Station.
• Filled with anger, Lord Vader is "investigating" reports of rebel activity around the Saberhing Asteroid Belt. Commander Sato has been tasked with defending the valuable belt.
• Bloodied but unbent, Admiral Ackbar is attempting to bring Xyguine into the Rebel Alliance, something which Admiral Motti has been established to "deal with".

Hey guys, actually Generall Rieekan wants to declare a base assault on Correlia. That is the only change. Also we are still working out our resources to see if we can build a base. We will get back to you all soon.

Ding-dong battle out in the Xylophone system today!!

Ackbar's Rebels destroy an imperial interdictor, a raider, and an allied tie advanced squadron.

Ackbar's Command Cruiser "Damp Squid" is now veteran, as is the CR90 corvette "Screaming Pilchard" which entered the battle already scarred from it's previous encounter with Darth Vader.

These successes came at the cost of a CR90 corvette, and the entirety of our fighter contingent.

Unfortunately the destroyed CR90 had been designated as a special target by Admiral Motti, so the Most Wanted mission being played meant that the evil Imperials won 181 points vs 164

General Rieekan Raiding Mission: Unfortunate Failure

The Mission was simple, go in, raid, retreat. Unfortunately, close calls meant that Rieekan lost 2 ships and 4 squadrons. The Imperials lost almost all their fights and scraped through with two GSD's on 1 hit point each. Meanwhile, Rieekan has a huge repair task and one rebel base was destroyed. The Rebels will regroup and begin a new counter attack.

Commander Sato: Mission technically defend the repair yards, but actually survive the battle to be able to upgrade his ships (rather than spend all his points again on repairs!). That the repair yards were lost against Vader's overwhelming firepower and gunnery teams was not in question, although Sato almost pulled off a flanking maneuver around his own Armed Station and the rebel fighters destroyed all of the Imperial squadrons, Vader pulled his ISD and a VSD around to face them in time. Sato also noted that his own ship crews needed extensive training in hitting anything before ordering a hyperspace retreat. Post battle, Sato's fleet is back to full strength with Shara and Tycho as veterans. HQ will be notified of upgrades to the fleet shortly.

Quite so @noggin I've been neglecting my Battle reporting duties a little so here is a more detailed (but a little hazy) account of the Hyperlane raid between me and @Jammers.

I applied objective tokens to both Arquitens, Demolisher and the other GSD leaving the Quasar empty as I thought it more vulnerable with only 2 Defence tokens, moderate shields and the larger base enabling double arcing by opponents. We were playing lengthways with me at the bottom trying to get into the rebel end zone at the top. I got to place the obstacles so had a line of asteroids and a debris field vertically from the middle of his end zone to about range 3 of where my deployment zone started. This created 2 channels of open space with an obstacle barrier. The base was in the left of these channels as a decoy as I was planning on going right but we would see after deployment. Rebels had 6 ships to my 5 and a couple more squadrons. I deployed the Carrier facing right down the line of rocks with a GSD on its left and Demolisher to its right. Needa/TRC Arquitens to the right a little more and Mof JJ's on the Right flank. The Arquitens were speed 3 but positioned a base length further back, the other ships were speed 2. Rebels delayed deployment with their flotillas and squadrons then placed the AF2 & MC30 to come down to my right but close to the rocks, Rieekan on Jana's light was further to my right and the Hammer head & flotillas were goal keeping further back with the heavier fighters.

Turn 1 & 2 we banked a few tokens and I turned the fleet left and ran up that side. Turn 3 the fleets approached and 2 A-Wing+Green squadron pinned my Tie-I ball killing one and 2 damage to 2 others (nicely avoiding my escort). My counter(3) from Howlrunner wasn't fantastic. I then activated and killed all 3 but Rieekan kept Green squadron zombie and the TIE-ball pinned. More fresh interceptors took counter damage. A bit of long range fire did some damage to both sides and the Imperials sped up. The MC30 had an opportunity to speed up to 4 and last-first-double-arc my carrier but then would have zoomed off out of the game so he chose to stay speed 3 keep options open.

Turn 4 Han & Jan took on the TIE-ball killing interceptors and intel away from Zertek but the Counter(3) with swarm began to roll well. The larger rebels were now flanking us and Demolisher decided to make a charge on the flank of the Hammerhead. 2 red dice got a point of damage then after moving the 5 black with an APT caused a crit damaging 2 shields by one point each and unluckily this was the only crit that would have resulted in destruction. It was a good (alright lucky) roll too considering I didn't have Ordnance Experts at the time. Demolisher got shot by the AF2 and had to run over Luke & Farlander to do his thing. My GSD and carrier stripped side shields from the MC30 who positioned himself on the GSDs tail to do heavy damage the next turn. The AF2 slowed down to 1 to avoid rocks and the 2 Arquitens began to pound on it (obscured) doing little. Next turn The MC30 smacked the GSD and moved away from being flank/rear double arced by the GSD. So I activated Demolisher and savaged the AF2 and limped away into the end zone. Luke/Farlander chased after but rolled poorly getting a crit that meant 1 damage if I was faster than speed 1 - I was speed 3 with 1 hull left and no shields. Eeek!

Turn 6 MC30 tried medium range blue to finish off the GSD but failed to roll well enough and the Gladiator limped forwards but didn't make the end zone. The AF2 went down to Arquitens fire. Demolisher revealed a repair command repairing that crit then running forwards speed 3. The . The light cruisers did cross the line and with only 5 squadrons dead we got a good result delivering goods to the loyal citizens of the empire.

I never forget from our campaign how my Combat Retrofit Rebel Transport became Veteran after destroying VSD which tried to run away on 1 hull point and with no shields left!

Not sure if this is a house rule or not but we play where the veteran status is lost if the ship/squadron is destroyed, even if they are repaired and never appear on table scarred. It stops there being too many veterans and gives an extra reason to go for kills even If you know the enemy could repair losses easily.

My Howlrunner lost her Veteran status this way in round 2 but unusually Zertek Storm is now Veteran after carboniting Han Solo. As my only escort squadron who was put in there specifically to take the heat off my fragile Interceptors it is unusual for him to survive a game.

REVISED EXPENDITURE:

I have 35 refit points and assume 30 resource income (might be a bit more?) = 65

I will repair my 2 scarred corvettes for 44

Purchase a TRC for the corvette which didn't have one, for 7

Buy X17 turbolasers for the MC80C, for 6

Buy engine techs for Nebulon Yavaris, for 8

Total spend is 44+7+6+8= 65

So my fleet now looks like this:
