Categorically incorrect. Mindlink is not, nor has it ever been, the problem - was anyone complaining about it before Wave 9? Quite the opposite, actually: most players were writing it off as overly complex rubbish. But once underpriced ships with green hard turns turned up, it exploded in usefulness. The two named Lancers (Sabine doesn't count since she's too far the other way: worthless) are both underpriced for their capabilities, and Fenn Rau is the poster child for criminally underpriced ships (28 base points for infinite Proton Rockets is not right however you look at it).

Fixing the symptoms of a problem instead of the cause will not actually solve the problem (case in point: Jumpmaster).

Nym, at least, we agree on - just one too many little things adding up to a ship that performs far beyond its sub-40pt cost.

Guns 4 Hire, and all of Wave 12 and 13 all have status "On the Boat", which means their development and production run is 100% complete. There will be no more changes to them before release. They are free to provide more detailed previews at any time.
