The Gunboat is the Alpha-class Star Wing of the upcoming Wave 12. It is from the X-Wing and TIE Fighter computer games.

LOL. I just saw a thread where you guys were talking about this back in 2014. That’s quite a while. I’m totally sure it’ll live up to 3 years of mounting anticipation.

Wave 11 was released on 13 July. FFG releases a wave about every 5-6 months so we are coming up to the release window.
Okay so we all know with all the upcoming releases announced we won't get any more news until something comes close to release. We have Hired Guns, Wave 12, and of course the upcoming Ep VIII release. That being said the first one to get release will probably be hired guns since it was announced before the other two and being a special release and not a wave it is fairly easy to release. That being said we all know that the movie tie ins will be released around the same time as the movie, so that will likely be next this coming December. Last but not at all least, Wave 12 will be released and then we will be wondering what the next wave will be what ever they tried to call it 13 or 14.
There is still one SKU missing, could be TLJ content, could be something else. Unless it is a dud as the tiles, they have to reveal that one as well.
I am also disappointed about G4H being delayed. It is in FFG utmost economical interest to get the TLJ movie tie-ins out shortly before or simultaneously or at most some week after first showing, to get the most out if these sales. With only 8 weeks left to the film's release this leaves precious little time in the sun for the poor Kihraxzes and Starvipers, where these ship finally could shine for once. Before the hype of the movie ships and upcoming gunbloat wave rolls over them.

I still don't understand why everyone is so demanding for more previews when one of the game's most notable issues is the accelerated release schedule leading to an unacceptable lack of testing and consequently to balance disasters like the Jumpmaster, Lancer, Nym etc. Nothing should be more important than a timely, relevant (anything done about Mindlink, for example, would be too little too late) errata to try and rein in some of the nonsense that is starting to push longer-term players away, and yet all anyone can seemingly do is clamour for "MOAR" trouble to be added onto the pile.
[As a side (and personal) note, the Star Wing can go and rot. Out of nothing but pure spite I hope it's terrible when it finally releases]
