Then there won't be much room for dice mitigation outside of TLs and Focus. There are a handful of cards that will allow re-rolls or changing/adding a die like M9-G8, Accuracy Corrector, TIE /x1 title, that sort of thing.

There's a lot of flavor that comes from crew cards, and not even half the ships can take a crew member, so I wouldn't want to shut them out, personally--but it would be worth trying your way out for the experience.

I still see Original core sets around and I found a hard to find Protectorate fighter there as well. My rebel transport was in the clearance bin for 75% off.

Really, my biggest limitations on epic are places I can play and people who can make the time commitment. People are willing to come play a tournament where they get multiple games but are less willing it seems to spend the same time on one game.

Also my good sized game table at home is only 4x4... Not big enough.

I love the format. Just wish I could do it more.
