this game might get the new AT-ST seen in the very first scene of the new trailer.

I think I wish this game was set in the new era.

I'm hyped AF, but as too the OP's question about what it means for Legion. Absolutely nothing for a good 2 years at least i reckon. (maybe a resistances/ FO box set tie in to Episode 9?)

I'd hope they do Clone Wars before Resistance. But striking while the irons hot on the new release hype is a thing so....

Yeah just needs a sprinkle of flavour with some named characters so you can swap out Vader and Luke. Also deathtroopers.

My gripe with 'Sequel Trilogy' content is that the Resistance just look so... bad. What's going on with that casual clothes with a motorcycle helmet look? When I heard about The Force Awakens I was looking forward to seeing New Republic soldiers, but instead we got Not!Rebels. At least the Rebels still had a grounded, tactical look to 'em. The Resistance look like guys going paintballing.

Looks like an attempt at a low budget 60's 70's sci-fi movie look.

I think we're going to see this off and on as the franchise learns what it is. Some things are probably unavoidably canon (70's sideburns and porn-staches), some things will probably die out as directors realize they are allowed to have the galaxy not look like a knockoff of itself.

Can't remember where I found this - might even have been here - but I loved this design. Still feels iconically Star Wars, but more like professional soldiers.
