Anyone else think that when luke says hes seen power level similar to Rey he is not talking about Kylo but about Snoke? What if he was the one who scarred him? Whould explain why Snoke wants to find him so badly in TFA. Maybe Snoke tricked him into thinking he was friendly at first. Snoke then joined the Jedi temple and corrupted Kylo...

Yeah perhaps. I don’t recall any scene in the other movies in which he was witnessing such ‘raw power’ in fear.

and he had no fear for he was the last Adaptus Astartes AND THEY SHALL KNOW NO FEAR!! Err . . . I mean, he had no fear because he was told that fear is the path to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Hate leads to suffering so he blindly followed that like any good religious proverb and let it happen, just like Yoda and Mace Windu let Anakin happen despite sensing/knowing that there was much hate in him.

It wouldn't necessarily be reincarnation. That would better refer to Vader literally being reborn in another body. But the Force giving the same level of power to another individual wouldn't really be reincarnation, just giving the same power.

I like this and even makes sense. Maybe we get to see a real force battle between Luke and Snoke... We only need a real surprise on Snoke real identity to make it dramatic as ****... What if for example Snoke is Kannan Jarrus who finally drifted away to the dark side when he lost Hera Sindulla in an epic saga yet to be told?

So much potential yet I'm afraid of disappointment :S

The trailer leads us to believe that Kylo is wrestling with blowing up his mom, but if you look in the background behind Leia the people are walking, suggesting that their ship isn't in combat.

Man, can I say... Fisher looks perfect in this trailer. A very well aged, beautiful Leia...

He was talking about Jabba. The last time he witnessed such powerful body odor, it didn’t scare him, but it does now. I mean, Rey did just climb like a thousand stairs...

It's pretty much exactly how traditional reincarnation works. Rey doesn't JUST have Vader's power. She also has flashes of memory from his life, like when he touches his old light saber.

Now, it could be simply that she's using the Force to pull memories directly from the saber itself. Or it could be that the saber is triggering her to see memories from her own past life.

Kylo will refuse to destroy the ship that is carrying his mother, but Snoke will take care of that dilemma with the ExtenZe the Supremecy resulting in Kylo turning against his other former master and joining forces with Rey after Snoke fails to turn her with liberal application of force torture . I am expecting that Luke may have been killed and gone glowey by this time.

Whats more likely to happen is Luke saving the day by rescuing Rey... I hope thats not whats going to happen because its soo predictable. They need a big turn of events to top up Strike Back, which is considered the best Star Wars movie by many fans (myself included, with TFA in 2nd position :-)

I also REALLY hope were not going to get a "Rey, i am your father" from Snoke :-)

Its so obviously what we will happen. Luke tells Rey that you are not yet ready to confront Kylo but she goes anyway because Finn is in danger.

Upon arrival, she doesn't find Kylo, but Snoke instead. She gets angry and tries to fight Snoke but then is treated to UNLIMITED POWARRRRHH. Kylo, sensing this, finds it difficult to focus during the space battle, making him break off his assault.

Just as Snoke is about to finish Rey off, a cloaked individual arrives, Luke . . A battle of force abilities ensues and takes up much of the films CGI and special effects budget. After much anime style devastation, Luke decides that it's clear that this conflict can only be decided by a lightsabre but Snoke doesn't care and force pulls the sun out of orbit and causes it to begin moving towards the not quite finished but partially operational Starkiller base 2.4 and apparates out like Dumbledore, his evil chuckle echoing around the now nearly vacant chamber.

Luke then has to calm his mind and put the sun back, giving him a great idea for a new ship, the sun crusher. Rey was unconscious the whole time and doesn't see any of this due to blood loss from her lost hand.

Luke then escapes with Rey and Finn on a XG-2 Gunboat (its a new one) that has a two white lines and a red blood stripe on it, just in time for Poe to begin his attack run on the Starkiller base. Poe get's BB8 shot though by Generic Ace 8 but is saved by Lando and an Ework in the MF, who then tell him to "blow this thing and lets go home."

Kylo then gets salty at the loss of yet another base and decides bad guys never win and decides to turn good but Rey on the other hand, asks Luke who Darth Plagius the wise is, shocked, Luke is about to speak and the credits roll.

After the credits in true Marvel style, Snoke is seen talking to someone and is later revealed to actually be Jar Jar Binks and Darth Revan.

In ANH Vaders cannons were on thumb triggers. You can see it when he takes out the first Y-wing (and possibly in other shots).

I honestly don't think it did. Certainly nothing here surprised me. I would rather have not seen it, but seeing as trailer spoilers were present in stupid clickbait articles on facebook I thought I might as well.

Can't wait though. I am hyped.

What, you mean the Decipher CCG? Yeah it could have concussion missiles in that game. Did Darth Vader’s TIE even have an official designation before that? I guess the X-wing sim called them TIE Advanced but they didn’t actually look exactly like Vader’s ship, no big fan tail.

I’m not as familiar with the first edition of WEG’s RPG as I was with the second, so I don’t know if they designated it as anything other than a ‘TIE Interceptor Prototype’ in the Star Warriors set, and it didn’t have any missiles.

ok nerds, when was Vader’s TIE first called a ‘modified’ Advanced x1 and when did it gain missiles?

Canonically I still as yet have only seen Vader shooting the lasers on his ship.

anyway, the Silencer is too big not to have secondary weapons of some kind.
