It really does - I miss the palp shuttle being a staple in tactics - it really played like no other ship. The wet noodle damage output of the other ships meant you had to get it in against other aces to actually hit anything, but getting an ace in arc of a shuttle is a herculean task.

I would rate you a better expert of that tactic than me. But would it be accurate to say you used the shuttle more to set up a "no fly zone" for the enemy ace more than actually trying to get the Ace in arc?

Don't you talk bad about my coordinating boy stridan. He's too wholesome for this world.

Also, yes? Well, kind of. At least the sensor jammer varieties you could throw in the mix to try and get shots with, because your aces will strip their tokens so they can't hurt your shuttle, then your shuttle can do actual damage on it's attack. For most games though yes, often times it just ended up as a really bad bumpmaster where the best defense it had was to just be in the way and make those no go zones. Sometimes the best defense against vessery is to land range 2 in arc of him and tell him he can't 4k next turn...
