I know the official release isn't until this Thursday, but it seems like someone usually gets these books a few days early. Do we know definitively yet if there is a new species or new Force power? Perhaps more importantly, I would love to hear some impressions on the adventure. Anyone?

My FLGS is hyper-strict about release dates (as they should be), so unless I get another walk-in willing to let me commandeer their book for half an hour, I won't be the spoiler, but whoever gets the book first! You must do your sacred duty!
Is it bad that I almost want them to push back the release date just a single day? Purely to have Ghosts of Dathomir released on a Friday the 13th. And not just any Friday the 13th. Friday the 13th in October.

My printed-paper-dealer actually gave a solid date... "Expected to arrive on October 30th 2017"...
Which also means two other books, in print and available, are being held back, as I ordered three books in a single go.
So no, no Ghosts of Dathomir here, and probably not so for some time.

Yup. It was going to be (I think) 2 days shy of a year after its announcement. Now it's a full year.
Just had a chance to browse through it, and I’m impressed. Has a much different feel than previous canned adventures. Love the NPC villain, some very interesting “rules” on running group/shared Force visions. Art it super as always. According to one of the GM Suggestion boxes this adventure should be run with Knight Level Force users. I’ll probably read it over the weekend.

i just want to know about the stats for the spinny Inquisitor saber.
When I get off work I’ll give more details, as I really only did a cursory run through of the book. The main baddie NPC is named Jerserra (which I’m assuming is a play off of Jensaarai). Pretty badass, and yes if I recall correctly there are stats for the Copter-Blade (don’t recall it have rules for using it as a helicopter though).
We are all looking forward to the spoilers
Toys for me... gear weapons vehicles armour and of course attachments
And 1+ for force powers
