I wish I could say otherwise, but my wife had nearly zero interest in seeing this movie until that trailer. (I mean, she's a big Star Wars fan - LOVES 'Rebels' and 'Rogue One' - but TFA was just a complete misfire for her)
She loved the Porgs, though.
Isn't the nebulon k a legends ship? If so there is zero chance that it shows up on screen. That hatchet shaped ship is clearly a star hawk.

It’s easy to get canon mixed up nowadays.
The trailer looked like they had spent a lot of money on the movie.
But there wasn't anything in it that made Ep 8 look special.

It has a distinctive visual style that I very much like. I think they made a good choice bringing in Rian Johnson. It will be interesting to see how the plot develops. Despite some superficial similarities, I doubt we're getting an ESB rehash. Johnson has shown the ability to handle complex plot lines. Come on Gray Jedi!!!

It is really interesting to see the difference in effort we put into trailers nowadays vs. then. That Empire trailer is like some fifty-year-old studio exec swept old footage from the editing room into a dustpan and told some poor marketing guy to make something, but don't forget the outer space look, and make sure yo use those whizbang floating logos.
That scene with 3PO tearing off the Wampa warning didn't even make it into the final film. Pity, I liked the segment where the Stormtrooper opens the door, gets taken, and Darth walks off as if he's thinking "Ugh! I don't have time for this!".
