Online play

By Neuroticgrim, in Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game

Howdy,

A friend and I are looking to start testing out deck builds online together when we cant meet in person, are there any online modules or game versions that allow clean and thorough play at this point?

Thanks - Neuro

OCTGN seems really good from my play testing. You have to download and install the client, setup an account, and install the game module. The module for L5R keeps track of a few things, but doesn't enforce any rules. I was able to build a deck, start playing, and learn the UI in about 5 minutes.

Tabletop Simulator has a reasonably large following as well, but it costs money, and there is a fairly pointless debate about whether OCTGN or TTS is better. There is also a webclient being developed based off of the online Netrunner and AGoT online engines at https://mahois.fun but it is still in beta.
