He goes home bowed.
And does my opponent win the ring?
She stares intently at the honorless cur of a courtier who cancelled the upcoming battle. Sipping her tea wordlessly, she slams her fist into the table over, and over again until her blood and splinters of wood begin dripping over the edge of table onto the floor.
She goes home later, happy, with a bandaged hand, the head of the courtiers yojimbo on her belt, and a letter promising the lion the rice rights for the town she should have conquered that day.

Edited by Suka044That's fine. Just having a little fun with what is clearly an lcg question in the rpg forum.
I think Mort was roleplaying, because you've inadvertently posted in the RPG thread rather than the LCG thread. You lose an honor, but don't worry we forgive you.
As far as your previous question about what happens to the ring, if your opponent has defenders and wins the conflict when your Matsu Berserker is sent home and both players pass their actions, then yes your opponent wins the ring, although as the defender they do not have the opportunity to trigger its effect. If however your opponent has no defenders, and there are therefore no participating characters, then there is no winner and the ring is returned to the unclaimed ring pool.
