Honorable Mention for the X-Wing. A lousy ship, which still proved to be great fun to play as you had to manage the energy so vigorous to make it sing. Transferring energy was an absolute necessity to get at least some speed out of that piece of garbage while not overextending that energy transfer to ruin the advantages the ship had in shields and firepower. I still enjoyed flying all kind of TIE-Fighters more, because you could just focus on flying as speed and agility were already near perfect and you rarely had to bother with shield recharge at all.

1) Starviper. It's the coolest looking and makes the most sense with wingtip thrusters.

2) VCX-100. Mr Potato head I call it. It's just this big ol' lump that you can tack all kinds of things to that change its character completely.

3) E-wing. Looks like garbage, but I've sideways just loved flying it. I prefer Etahn but will settle for Corran.

4) Outrider. I know people hate Dash and I don't blame them, but he's always been one of my favorite EU characters. Plus the flipping and flopping and blasting away is fun.

5) Slave 1. Boba Fett is a badass. The rotating interior cockpit design is crazy and cool. The silhouette is menacing.
