Aren't you in Texas?

Checked in today and the tournament is a little over half full with paid players. Get signed up soon if you can make it.

No longer! I have escaped to the glorious currently snowy Northwest!

Also, to register just PayPal your $16 to info(at)diceagegames(.)com, with a note that it's for the Armada Regionals and your name. Then make sure you check here within a day or two to make sure they got you on the list (they had missed mine until I called back).

I'm pretty excited! I finally bit the bullet to learn Vassel so I can start getting more practice with my fleet in.

Looks like 4 spots left. Get em while the gettin's good!

Want to make sure @Maturin sees this, not sure if anybody up there is planning to make the drive.

Signed up and in. There are two of us from Vantooine coming (James (me) and Alex). Any recommendations for accommodation in the vicinity?

I'm stoked as well, played a couple local store tourneys in Portland but this will be a big event!

I'm getting into Vassal too, PM me if you want to try to connect for a virtual game. I've only played one so far so might be a bit slow.

If you're able to attend, please bring along any FFG space mats that you have.

I just wanted to give @shmitty a shout out for a well run, super fun tournament. Without stand up people like him willing to organize and pass on playing our communities would be much poorer. Thanks!

I got a chance to meet a ton of great people from all over - it was a true regional, with Seattle and Spokane sending strong contingents. The two of us from the Other Vancouver did ok too. Great food and beer afterwards was just icing on the cake.

We had one of the Spokane guys down here in Tucson getting a few training games in. Hope he did well, he's a good player and sounded like he was bringing a strong fleet.

Hey that was me. I didn't do very well, but I had a lot of fun!

Good to hear stone. If it makes you feel any better that ISD list I ran got wrecked on Vassal last night. Wasn't even worth going beyond round 2.

There were a lot of ISDs there. Our practice game was good at preparing me for getting devastated by ISDs. One was even the Devastator . lol.

haha I took over that fleet and played Rasp after you left and ended up winning with it by a pretty hefty margin. You gave up too early!

FYI for any other FFG forum n00bs like me that didn't know to check the data thread for detailed results and lists; here's a direct link to the great table @shmitty put together, and he posted the lists just a bit farther down. I can see why people get sucked into these FFG boards! :)

That was my fleet with Dev. :)

Need more practice with it, but I was happy with it. Although wave 7 means a whole new shake up and fleet listing ha.
