Recently bought RT n DH. Im extremely disapointed with both books having different psy rule but thats another story...

My question is about the starting Psy Rating of astropath!

In the special ability entry p72 which i found at random (there should be clue in the class entry there is another page with special ability for career), they says the astropath start at psy rating 2.

However in the career path rank 1 bloc it is written it cost 200 xp for the Psy rating 2 talent.

So my concern is which one is right? Is the astropath starting at psy rating 1 or is the Psy Rating 2 talent entry should not be in the bloc?

In DH the imperial Psyker start at psy rating 1 n get psy rating 2 at its second rank... Im confused, plz help

All skills and Talents that are given as part of the starting package are listed in the Rank 1 box.

No you can not buy them.

They are there to show cost in case a background package or GM overrides them.

Astropaths start at Psy 2.

Not intended to be rude, but the Mods won't sticky any of the 2 or more threads a month that ask about why are skills and talents repeated in the Rank 1 box.

Since this question pops up twice a month maybe their should be a sticky? I came in to ask the same thing but luckily this post was still on the first page.
