Thanks, but I don't think I know you; at least I don't recall gaming with you. So I'm pretty sure you'll be fine.

Yeah, at least in chess a knight

Understandably, that is a ridiculous size for a miniature. People would not have been happy with a 2.4cm miniature. So I get why considering the inconsistencies of the A-Wing size in Return of the Jedi (between miniatures, cockpit shot and matte paintings) they decided to go with the largest size to make the best miniature.
The problem now is that the new A-Wing is officially 7.7m in every way possible. There is no way to go around that size... so my question is, when FFG releases the Resistance A-Wing, will they keep the offical size making it very small and very different from the current A-Wing or will they adapt the size to fit the A-Wing miniature so the game keeps looking good?
I would have been. But I am also of a fan of: Realism before Balancing, Art before Mainstreaming.

I mean, in case of TIE Fighters they just gave them a new paintjob. Stormtroopers got a slightly different helmet... but A-wing - it's shape ACTUALLY changed - if only slightly. This can only be compared to AT-AT walkers getting a slightly bulldoggy look. I can't believe how daring Disney is. It's only been 30 years and they're changing so much!
