Have you heard the tragedy of Darth Duncan the Tall? It's not a story FFG would tell you. He had the power to roll natties. However, he was killed in elimination at nationals by Darth Paul. He could save others from variance, but not himself.

Actual question- how many times have people said "save me Duncan" when playing against you without knowing who you were?

I mean i kraytvented it so...

Happy Friday! Man, I had a good time tonight. We managed to get TWO games of HotAC in with a full 6 people! We are really getting to the end of the campaign. I"m doing pretty well at PS 7. I have a ton of movement options and love it.

1. First mission was our last Tier 2 mission and one to get the defector Tie Defender. Judicious use of Ion Torpedoes made it a lot easier than it seemed. Also, we did find the defector on the 2nd try. That helped a lot. Oh, and she got lucky and jumped to hyperspace on the first turn! She never got shot at. Not a lot of XP, but it was a success.
2. This was the last mission about the captured shuttle. We raided a mining camp and blew it up! It started off OK and we blasted 2 shuttles to half health, but then the Imperials got to focus fire on a couple of ships and J-bot went down! We had to start focusing on the objective and started to blow them up. Punisher Jason was blasted to 1 hull in his B-wing! He managed a Proton Bomb that blew up 2 Tie Fighters and a package, while damaging a lot. If I hadn't just gotten R2-D2, I would've been blown up, too, but I only took a single hull shot. A Y-wing was also shot down near the end. Reinforcements showed up as we moved to hit the last 2. We got it and another wave showed up just as we tried to leave! They managed to bump into the other reinforcements on one side as we boosted to get away. Two turrets were left firing, but they missed us! We escaped with 8 XP each!

Two games tonight vs a new player. This guy is getting stronger with each match. When he finally gets all the releases I think he will be a strong contender.

As to the question. Some of the games I've played, only divine intervention would have saved my squad. Even then it would have been a 50/50 proposition.
