Does it bother anyone that the Auzituck came with two reinforce tokens, despite the fact that there is no upgrade that allows you to take two, and you can't perform the same action twice?

Not really. Think about it. If you lose the odd focus, evade, or even one end of a TL, you likely have enough to cover for a game. If you lose a Reinforce token, TECHNICALLY you'd be out at least $15 to get another AussienamedTuck to get a replacement and then you'd have only 1 token to share between 2 ships. Or if you're the Monopoly Man you could just shell out for a Huge ship that has one.

Cardboard leads a life fraught with peril and potentially lethal events. One spilled drink, one grabby toddler, one flipped table and your Wookiees would be flying naked into battle at nationals (I mean they do that anyway but you know what I mean).

It came off as thoughtfulness to me.

Good reasons, but, I think I speak for all of us when I say, I'm still dissapointed there isn't an upgrade card for it.

Could be one in a future Epic Expansion and they knew this so they threw in two since the Gunship Reinforce tokens are different than standard Epic.

I really hope so. I'd hate it if the only reason there are two is if you lose one.

The core set comes with 3 or 4 (or is it 5 or 6) sets of target lock tokens but only one ship in the box can lock and there are no other cards that give extra locks during play.

The Evade token from the TIE Defender expansion was lonely.

Of course we're probably going to get some future Rebel ship with a pilot that can use any action on a friendly ship's action bar.

Honestly, I'm glad that we aren't allowed to do token stacking with reinforce Tokens.

Also, at least in Epic, we already have a more elegant solution: the Bright Hope just buffs its one.

Guess they just had too much cardboard left, with no native TLs to go with the ship.

If they were to follow the logic of having spares for unique tokens, how come we only got one each for the snazzy conditions markers...

There was another gunship that would have filled a similar niche and it was even canon. But since nobody likes the prequels we won’t be seeing it.
