Luke Skywalker Lamda Shuttle

By Boom Owl, in X-Wing

So last night im watching ROTJ on TV and at the end I noticed Luke pilots a Lamda shuttle to escape the 2nd Death Star with dead Darth Vader on board.

Wonder what ability the Rebel Anakin Force Ghost Crew would have? Barrel Roll maybe, thats a neat trick....

Or from a different angle how incredibly broken a PS9 Poe TIE SF with Finn Crew would be.

Hope this never happens since its still difficult to accept seeing the Captured Tie on the table....but I might just proxy a Luke Lamda, Poe SF with Finn Crew, Rex Tie list one of these days.

And now for my real question....

Are there any existing Imperial pilots who have flown a rebel ship?

Soontir flew an X-wing in some of the old comics

Pretty sure that and an R2 Astromech would be a decent T-65 :)

Lol! I don't think Imp players would be very happy if the rebels stole one of there favorite interceptor pilots.

In rogue squadron, Juno Eclipse defects in her interceptor and then proceeds to fly all kinds of rebel ships. Mostly x wings

Sure...

But then I want

Imperial Wedge
Imperial Sabine
Imperial Biggs
Imperial Han

Only after those, we can think about talking about you getting even more imperial property, you rebel scum

Surely you mean Kasan Moor. Juno Eclipse was the lady from the Force Leash games.

Han and Chewie also flew a Lambda shuttle on the way to Endor.

FGG give us a Rebel Lambda shuttle.

Soontir became an ace with the new republic, married Wedge's sister and killed Countess Ryad. He went full traitor. I so wish the rebels would get him.

He then returned to Imperial forces... so that’s an Imperial X-Wing not a Rebel Soontir... I’d hope

I don't think he took his X wing with him.

Lol! Sorry my bad!

Luke in Lambda ability: "If this is the last ship remaining on the board from your squad, remove this ship from play and the game ends. This ship counts as surviving the game and does not count as destroyed."

Flavor text, "Congrats you cheaty bastard."

Goes without saying!

Also remove any Vader or Palpatine cards from play... count as destroyed.

Lumiya flew with Rogue Squadron as an Imperial double agent.

Actually, converts any Vader in play and counts as destroyed for the empire AND as extra points for for the rebel player. That Lambda will draw more aggro than a Palp shuttle. :D
Love it :D

Biggs and Wedge were also imperial pilots before joining the rebellion.

I don't remember exactly about Wedge but Biggs surely was.

I’ll go with this if you add Luke can only be fielded if his squad mates are Lando in the Falcon and Wedge.

edit: You must also tear the radar dish off your falcon. ?

She still flew with the Rebellion, after her defection.

In the TFU-2 novel, she flew a two-seat R-22 to Mon Calamari (with PROXY as passenger) for example.

Same faction multi-ship pilots keep their previous ability. They only change abilities when changing (sub)factions. Sorry, Luke would still have mini defense focus. A title (Stolen Shuttle or Tyderium) would get the desired weirdness everyone wants.

That is your assumption based on Han. But it is based on wishful thinking and arbitrary interpretation of previous examples. ;-)
Return of the Jedi Luke might indeed get a complete different ability than Greenhorn ANH Luke
