Quick background...
My buddy gifted me his Lord of the Rings LCG collection. The collection included two cores. LOTR LCG is a game where a full playset requires three core sets. I went out immediately and bought a third core. HOWEVER, the overwhelming majority of player cards have either two or three in each core set. What that means is that while you need three cores for a full playset, the third core is really only contributing about 16 cards or so (I don't remember the exact number). I kind of feel like getting that third core was a waste of money.
For those who are in the know, how does this work with L5R? How many actual cards do you need from that third core box? Is this another situation where two cores covers MOST of a playset and the third core just fills in certain cards? I have two cores on hold for purchase tonight and am debating getting a third.
