return of the trash haulers

so with the increase in low-level constant damage lists, is it time for things like the YV666, Ghost, and Decimator to come to the fore.

as I don't have a deci, and have flown alot of rebels lately, I've been messing about with the YV666 (which, for reasons best known to myself, I own two of).

so I've got two possible lists that I think could be interesting;

Double Trouble - 100pts

Maralo Eval (34) tractor beam (1) gonk (2) ketsu onyo (1) scavenger crane (2) countermeasures (3)

Bossk (35) fearlessness (1) Mangler cannon (4) tactician (2) lattz razzi (2) mercenary co-pilot (2) scavenger crane (2) countermeasures (3) Hounds Tooth (6)

OR

Haulin' Trash - 99pts

2x Trandosian Slavers (29) Tractor Beam (1) Anti-pursuit Laser (2)

4-LOM (27) mist hunter (0) tractor beam (1) collision detector (0) Dengar (2) VI (1) engine upgrade (4)

so what do people think?

I think that Tractor Beams are an odd choice on a ship with a 180 degree 3 dice attack, but I like the ideas here. Here's my take on a double slaver list:

YVYVY:
Trandoshan Slaver [4-LOM, Boba Fett, K4 Security Droid, Engine Upgrade] (38)

Trandoshan Slaver [K4 Security Droid, Intelligence Agent, Engine Upgrade] (37)

Syndicate Thug [Twin Laser Turret, Overclocked R4] (25)

Should feel kind of like the double ghost list that made worlds a while back. Boost when you need to re-position, but otherwise you have a double modded attack from two enormous tanks. The Y will dish out consistent damage too. I definitely envy you your second YV, and really wish I could fly this list. Looks like fun.

Alternately, you could run this variation:

Trandoshan Slaver [K4 Security Droid, Burnout Slam, Engine Upgrade] (37)

Trandoshan Slaver [K4 Security Droid, Intelligence Agent, Burnout Slam, Engine Upgrade] (38)

Syndicate Thug [Twin Laser Turret, Overclocked R4] (25)

Burnout really helps the slaver get back in the game.

yeh the tractors are there for two reasons 1) sticking -1 defence tokens (or at least threatening to) on targets 2) attempting to pull TLT carriers into close range

yup definitely one of my favourite upgrades on the YV, really surprises people when you actually manage to get the thing turned round in one go or disappear off to the other side of the table to Gonk-up for a turn or two.

I do like the 2x YV + Y squadron, but I like to have at least one mid-to-high PS ship in my squadrons, I might play with the idea of using Kavil instead of -LOM in my "haulin' trash" list

I'm thinking something like
