Aces you forgot about

The Empire also has more Scatter aces. Their squadrons are just better at the squadron game too.

edit: Just had a thought.. does that make B-wings minivans? They get the job done but definitely not flashy...

I don't want this to devolve into a Empire v Rebel squad thing and hijack the thread but I have not found that to be the case at all. Maybe the people I've played don't know how to use the Empire right but there are some pretty nice Rebel squad balls that are tough to bring down. Just recently the Biggsball was overpowered and unstoppable and ruining the game and we never wanted to play again and other sad things. Without Rhymer and his extra-long range bombing I think it's really not that badly balanced. Try chewing through Biggs and a couple yt-1300s backed by Jan's braces and see how long those scatter aces last, especially if Yavaris can get in there and flak.

Effectively, yes. They're slow and kind of ugly and not very flashy, but they roll up, open their doors, and then a seemingly endless tide of children bombs come pouring out.
