I haven't used E wings much. I like them, but their abilities are mediocre. I'd use them more if they had a black die for bomber. They are supposed to be the best of the X wing and the A wing combined together, but the A wing has get better chance of damaging a ship.

I might try that. Maybe with Adar Tallon in Yavaris, with Corran Horn. It would be great for assassinating enemy uniques.

I used them in CC and they always felt like they delivered. Never carried the day, but always pulled their weight. Then I promptly haven’t used them again... hm.

That whole squadron wave (for both factions) strikes me as the “hide behind a few escorts and shine” roles.

I love blount, but i tend to run Squad heavy and I like to win the squad fight which z95's help with dramatically.

Corran is excellent for this. His rogue and better snipe makes him worth about 2 E-mails wings.

I forgot about Keyan so much that I forgot he rolls two black anti-ship when I added him to my 6 B-Wing list in a tournament a couple weeks ago.

I pulled Nym out when Toryn Farr and BCC became I thing. Combined with Adar and Yavaris, the opportunity was there to remove 3 defense tokens from a ship. What's his battle cry? "Sloane who?"

How many do you have? I only have the 2 and I feel like a swarm would be more effective...

I'm not sure when the switch got flipped, but Morna Kee is exploding in popularity recently. She basically functions as a flotilla you activate as a squadron, but unlike a Gozanti she's entirely a combat platform without any support ability. Until realizing that, 27 points feels too expensive for just another Decimator.

In the local area I would not say we forgot about them but do not use.

There's some good Imperial aces there, but others have either previously been garbage (Bossk, Soontir) or were always garbage (Jonus, Whisper, Black Squad).

I agree with all of that except Soontir Fel. He messes up my game when he shows up.

Biggs, Dash, and Ten Numb all being mising indicates some severe weaknesses. But not as many as nearly all the Imperial Aces being missing. Any Imperial squadron meta without Mauler and Valen is suspect right now.

I guess I should say that when I talk about my meta it isn’t really a meta so much as what @SgtDurandal and I feel like bringing. So I might not have much authority to talk about metas since we are the meta and does two really count?

when i run them i normally do 3 xwings, rogue squad, 5 Z's and then blount. The X's only need to live long enough for the Z's to do their job which is a round or 2, then i shift the squads to anti ship. I like to run them with a pelta for support.

No they are using the best, and leaving the junk. With the number of two AA dice ships that the rebels use the three hull fighters last at best two turns, so are just giving points to the rebels. But this may just be local meta.

Captain Jonus is the big suprise for me. On paper he is absolutely amazing but ive never seen him used.

I love me some Captain Jonus, he makes his way into most of my lists. Granted I also play in a pretty limited meta - it's what to bring with him that I often struggle with.

Well that's not true. It just has more fast ones

But I guess if squads are like cars then fast=cool? I love most of my Rebel squads. And it seems like this list has more Empire on it than Rebel.

edit: Just had a thought.. does that make B-wings minivans? They get the job done but definitely not flashy...
