This thing needs to boost backwards when it shoots.

Can I have like a list of instructions?

Made a backstory!

The Dominator Gatling Slugthrower system was a rarely deployed, but highly effective up-arming of the Raider-class Corvette. The system incorporated 4 massive Slugthrower gatling cannons mounted on the sides of the craft that were fire-linked to an additional 6 ion cannon batteries on the primary hull. The Dominator was purpose-built as a brutally effective anti-starfighter system, that was extremely efficient at destroying dozens of fighters at a time beneath dizzying hails of concentrated fire. The system was so effective and feared by alliance starfighter pilots, that oftentimes rebel commanders would order their fighter escorts to hyperspace immediately upon the arrival of a Dominator equipped Raider rather than suffer the inevitable loss of the ships. However, the system was not without its flaws... The system, once installed, required such a hard line Integration and overhaul of the Raiders spaceframe, that altering the ship to a different spec became effectively impossible. The gatling slugthrowers, while sporting a mind-boggling damage output, required storage of on board ammunition in addition to their considerable energy cost to operate and had a tendency to overheat after only a few seconds of use. These factors, combined with the high cost of deploying the system fleet-wide, prevented the Dominator from being used anywhere but within Imperial special forces or hunter-killer groups protecting the Empires most sensitive assets.

I may or may not be picking up another heavy arms gundam kit today to put a third gun on the bottom mount :P

Agreed!

Get a serpent custom endless waltz gundam kit, build the gatling guns, snap off the raiders solar panels on the sides and the bottom, move lower panel to the top of the ship and glue in place, sand the area on the side mounts till smooth, then mount guns to the side and you're done!

I'd recommend doing all your painting before putting everything together though for sure.

This definitely needs to transform into heavy arms.

I actually have an x-wing scale heavy arms model along with a few others. I'm envisioning something where this ship shows up and starts taking apart my hotac squadron and they have to use mobile suits to fight it! Would be awesome seeing the Freedom slice one of those big guns off and use it against the Raider!

Scale is way off.

I would say that compared to the Vengeance-class frigate on which this is based, the guns on this raider are downright paltry! http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Vengeance-class_frigate Not sure what sort of scale has the "correct" measurements for the giant space gatling laser guns that literally only exist here on this ship, but I'd love to be educated on where it is.

Must have this on it also. Wave Motion Gun

I actually have a giant gun from the same kit that I can slap on the bottom of the ship, but I wouldn't be able to mount it anymore! LOL

Great build, but it needs more buster rifle. I want to see the raider fire that and spin around as it wipes out everything around it. As for a Wave Motion Cannon that is exactly what the Empire needs, a ship with a gun on par with the death star(ish) without a moral man like Okita at the helm.

Depending on the size of the rounds, those cannons could also be loaded with denser ammo for a form of kinetic bombardment of a planet's surface.

Not really applicable to the game, but an interesting in-universe application.

Well, there was the Eclipse-class which had a super laser capable of erasing continents. Little big for X-Wing though Armada might like it.

LOVE IT

Dominator title card. A bit wordy, so I'd love some help simplifying it if anyone can think of a way to. I want the energy to more or less represent the ammo in this case, so the weapons burn through their store of ammo and then must be reloaded.

Small spoiler for Yamato 2199, but yea the Eclipse is great and all but when you have something the size of a CR90 corevette capable of doing it but more then the Empire would just love it.

How about this:

Spend one or more energy from this card to perform this attack. For each energy spent, you may perform an attack against any number of ships inside your bullseye firing arc. You may allocate energy to this card only after the number of energy on it reaches 0.

Sounds much better. Streamlining it into "card language"

"Spend X Energy to make X (separate, single target only) attacks within your bullseye arc. You may only assign energy if this card has 0 energy."

I wish I could find a clip but the Andromeda, the ship made after the Yamato that has two of the guns strapped to it is even crazier. Lets just say it went against a fleet and the other fleet didn't come out so great. Also, if no one has seen it Yamato 2199, and the sequel movies Yamato 2202 are both just both good space opera goodness with some good ship battles.
