I understand why people would want Yoda. He is the last main character that could be in the game! But I have my concerns: What would his side mission be? He was in exile since Episode 3. You may be thinking about Obi-Wan right about now, but Tatooine is a busy place where he could easily get into trouble. Yoda, though? He has been completely alone without anyone to bother him. I can't imagine any scenario with him in it.

Possible yoda mission off the top of my head

You've been tracking imperial chatter and learn a scouting party has been sent on behalf of Darth Vader and the Emporer to the Dagobah system to investigate its strong ties to the force. Intent on keeping any force related secrets out of the empires hands you gather your strike team and head for Dagobah. When you arrive you secret your ship at the edge of a lagoon and set off towards the heart of the imperial operation. On your way to their camp you encounter a small intelligent green life form who offers to be your guide. From (insert strongest hero's name) shoulders he shows up a short cut the Camp.

Proceed to have a swamp based mission where Yoda is a badass.

At the end of the mission... the small green life form, whose name you think started with a Y but for some reason none of you can remember, came up each of you and waived good bye. Even though you all remember fighting you can't remember any details. The only thing you all agree on is this was not the planet you were looking for...

Side note on Yoda. I for one really want him in the game but would be disappointed if they made him solely a support character. There's no reason to believe he's not totally capable of fighting in ep. 5. Remember Yoda's fighting style was totally dependent on using the force to aid in movement. In ep. 5 he's still capable of lifting a starship meaning he's easily capable zipping around with a light saber.

And isn't it Luke who tells R2 while approaching Dagobah that the only thing is picking up on scanners are life sign, no spaceports, no cities, no tech!

However, here's an idea. The rebel heroes, crash their ship on Dagobah (I'll let FFG come up with the reason why this would happen), near that cave surrounded by the Dark side of the Force (where Luke confronts the Vader vision in ESB). Heroes may go through a similar "test". That would however be déjà-vu mission

Spoilers for the biggest disappointment in 2017 in gaming Battlefront 2.

Cad Bane, Embo, other mercs in general, Thrawn, the remaining Rebels characters, and all character included in Rogue one. More Heros of the Empire, Partisan soldiers (Mercs) and new Rebel heros as they make new box sets.

Rebels need more units that aren't hero characters too... Specifically in the 7 point range.

Ewoks are fine, if they must, but stupid (I doubt anybody would use them unironicly)

I don't know... in a game where one of the most powerful lists is an Ugnaught swarm, who knows how powerful ewoks could be?

well at least we can use elite stormtroopers to show them the real might of the empire. How long do you think they would last?
