Imperial and Rebel Fleet Ideas

By DocFallujah, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

I'm very new to Star Wars Armada, but I was going to ask for help on building a fleet of each to be able to practice with my friends.

I currently Have the following items for Star Wars Armada,

Star Wars Armada Starter Set

Star Wars Armada Nebulon-B Frigate Expansion Pack

Star Wars Armada Rogues and Villians Expansion Pack

Star Wars Armada Imperial Fighter Squadrons Expansion Pack

Star Wars Armada Liberty Expansion Pack

Star Wars Armada Victory-Class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack

Star Wars Armada Home One Expansion Pack

Star Wars Armada Assault Frigate Mark II Expansion Pack

Star Wars Armada Rebel Fighter Squadrons Expansion Pack

Star Wars Armada Imperial Class Star Destroyer Expansion Pack

Now when i get money again here soon, I have no problem buying the rest of the expansions. I just want a fleet that can be competitive on each side so my friends and I can focus more on strategy (yes, each fleet has a different strategy, but if that is explained as well it would be appreciated!) than focusing on not having all the ships. Any and all help is appreciated. Thank you all for your time and enjoy your week!

Ok i had a look at your collection and I put two fleets together.

These are a little more upgrade heavy than I would normally suggest for a learner fleet, but with only the ships (and upgrades/admirals) you have an upgrade light fleet would put the rebels in a tough situation. That said, I feel the two fleets here give a really good picture of the asymmetrical balance in Armada, where Rebels will be tankier with lots of bomber damage and the Imperials will have big ship cannons and a tie swarm to put the hurt on the Rebel fighters if they can catch them out of position.

Additionally, by removing Medical Team or Skilled First Officer you van control who is first or second player. Its a little convenience built in to the list as a little way for you to balance on the fly who gets first or second.

Sorry it is greyed out, on mobile so it was a pain in the A just to get it here haha!

sorry about that.... Man I was trying to be helpful but I couldn't get it to work.

Anyway, when you are working with a limited collection, the best place to go is http://armada.fabpsb.net/gindex.php

you can type in your collection, and build rebel and imperial fleets in tandem so you don't accidentally use more upgrades than you own. Then you can print them out to quick build them at the table.

No this was awesome! I really appreciated this. And the website is great as well. Ill have to keep that in mind for the future.
