Last Jedi: Guess The Plot!

All I’ve seen for the movie so far are bigger super star destroyers, bigger AT-ATs, Rey and an old-timey Luke hanging out on a hidden world training in the Jedi arts, and a huge battle for a hidden Resistance base on an ice planet, which the Resistance will likely lose because this needs to be a trilogy.
Actually the ice planet is.... sand

No offense intended, but I’m not sure I get either of these posts. I am very tired today though, so maybe that’s why.

WOW THAT'S SUCH A FUNNY ORIGINAL JOKE
I know, but I couldn't resist.
I actual like The Force Awakens, and a lot of the Sequel Era reading, so can't wait for the new movie. But I also have a weird sense of humour too.
My guesses.
Luke's big journey of self-discovery has led him to find out that the struggle between Light and Dark is the actual source of suffering in the galaxy. Neither dark or light side force users are inherently evil, and that the only way to possibly alleviate suffering in the galaxy is to ensure that one side in this eternal struggle dies out. So Luke pushes Rey towards the dark side, she ends up teaming up with Kylo Ren who has a change of heart after some traumatic event.
Luke ends up sacrificing himself to save everyone so they can all escape the First Order. Rey and Kylo team up to battle Snoke, which will be finished in movie #3.
Subplot detailing the rivalry between Phasma and Fynn. Phasma is either killed off OR she joins the Resistance.
Luke's grand plan involves ensuring that the galaxy is united under a single strong force wielder, without ideological conflicts to spread suffering. Better to toil under a single tyrant than to be slaughtered in a power struggle between two.
Luke, Yoda, and maybe Obi-wan and Anakin make appearances as force ghosts.
Edited by BadMotivatorAbrams said star wars is about the Skywalker family..so it seems Rey will somehow be in that line
I bet we will learn that Snoke is actually Dr. Reinhardt
So who won?

I feel like I won. Because I came in expecting a total rehashing knockoff of Episode V, and instead I got a genuinely unique and enjoyable Star Wars movie with a bazillion plot twists, 99% of which I liked and only about 25% of which I expected in my wildest dreams. I think this movie is best summed up by what my friend (jokingly, I hope) said to me yesterday: "Star Wars is basically just my religion at this point. The Last Jedi was a religious experience for me."

not me.
I'm still trying to guess the plot.
Which is concerning given that I've already seen the film...
I think Marvel won. They just recieved their 3rd Guardians of the Galaxy movie much quicker than they expected.
