XWing player interested in Legion, so I picked up a few IA Miniatures to try to learn to paint. I figured the bounty hunters would at least be fun to have since I don't play IA.

Started a little rough with Dengar, but by the time I got to Bossk, I had started to get a feel for it. These would have been a lot worse without Sorastro's awesome videos to provide a toolset of useful techniques.

Not happy with any of my basing attempts yet.

They look pretty good. I think for your basing it might be that the flock is to uniformly coloured. IMO. If you added some degree of difference it could look a lot more natural.

Thanks, I've had the same thought.

I had tried applying some washes over some on a cardboard sheet to get variance, but poor results.

Im going to order some more options to try to work with. Will need it once I try to build terrain anyway.
