CT-6180 thinks " Great.. first time as a squad leader I'm recognized as a weather man, poet and dancer. Time to inspire these clones before I get another title ". Mynock adjusts the position of his walker to face the squad, " Alright, men. We successfully broke the first line with our flank. The good news is there are plenty more Seppie's to turn into salvage for our war effort. Let's go show Geonosis why the Republic sent us! " the clone shouts to rally his squad.

The Kaminoan would nod slowly at Doc's observation. 'That was something you were going to learn. Better here than in the field'. She would take even more notes before speaking once more. 'How do you think you could have dealt with that situation better in the future?'
Back in the sparring chamber, Buzzard would stumble back a few steps as he became increasingly frustrated with his efforts. His frustration could be seen as he attacks carried more power and aggression. He made wide, sweeping attacks at head height, but Anler would have no difficulty avoiding the brutish attacks.
Splat didn't have much luck either. As Buzzard moved to attack Anler, he kept moving in in front of his fellow clone. After the third time he blocked his attack, Splat would reach forward, grabbing Buzzard by the shoulder. He would pull him roughly back into line with him as he snaps 'come on man, get it together!'
Listening to the cadet describe his proposed modifications to the squads vehicles, the supervisor would give him a nod of approval. 'Well I don't know about all that junk you want to hang off the wings, but speed and defence are both good choices'. As he moves to inspect the walker again, he would look over his shoulder to speak. 'Don't forget shiny, you aren't going up against people like me and you. You're going against a droid army. Soulless, unthinking and unfeeling. It'll take more than a flashy paint job to throw them off'.
Back in the simulation, 6180 would receive a message on his walkers holo communicator. Once again it was the mandalorian from before, most likely to provide the second section of the simulation. 'Alright squad leader, better check your scanners, you've got a hostile heading straight for you. Time to decide what you want to do'.
Sure enough, showing up on the edge of the scanner was a single target. It was large enough to be a vehicle, and approaching fast. It looked like the Separatists were sending reinforcements to aid

Edited by RabobankriderSlugger runs up to the Droideka and prepares the Thermal Detonator, the droids ray shield had one weakness that while it blocked high velocity targets a slowly rolled Thermal Detonator would get through. The explosive goes off and the dust settles but the Droideka is nothing but a heap of rubble, " Target neutralized Detonator made short work of him. "
Edited by ShlambateDoc gives the Kaminoan's words some thought before speaking.
"Hmm...I'm not sure if I should have said something about Widget's condition, considering I did not see his body. I felt like if I had said he didn't suffer, I could have been risking myself if his corpse showed otherwise.
I should have addressed Jyik's anger first before trying to empathize. I was lucky that his squad was nearby. And lastly, I should work on getting my point across in a way that others will understand."
"Is there anything that I missed?" Doc said, wishing to hear any other suggestions for the future.

" We got inbound 39N 09E, hostile coming-in hot! Anybody get a read yet on that Seppie!? " CT-6180 asks over the comm. Edited by VergenceRealizing he needs to act fast, Anler goes all-out, attacking with more speed and power than he has until now. He moves to keep the clones from attacking simultaneously, backing away and circling to keep Buzzard between himself and Splat. He feints low again and Buzzard moves both sticks to block Anler's blow with a cross-parry. The Padawan was expecting the move, it seems like something the clone has drilled. At the last minute, Anler sidesteps and changes the angle of the attack, again hitting Buzzard with a heavy blow on the forehead, almost knocking the helmet off his face.
"Again, against a lightsaber, you would be dead," he says, trying to keep the clones from retaliating.
Anler will spend two maneuvers on aiming (burning 2 strain) and then strike at Buzzard again.

That's a hit for 5 damage before soak. I'll use the two advantages to activate Disorient again, giving Buzzard a Setback to all checks for a round.
The kaminoan would listen to Doc carefully, leaving a long pause before responding. 'Sometimes, a lie can be better than the truth. It is an odd concept perhaps, but it has it's place. It is better to tell a grieving mother her son died the quick death of a hero in battle than to say he was crushed under the treads of a tank'. Again another long pause as she seems to consider her own words. 'It is something to consider cadet. Other than that however, you are correct. You must learn to read people, not just your patients, but those that surround the patient. Now, do you have anything else to add?'
The supervisor of the engineering deck listening to the cadet explain the method behind his madness would actually crack a smile at this before breaking into laughter. 'If you do well maybe they'll make that an official title for you'. He'd gesture to both vehicles as he continues, 'any other plans or notes you want to add?'
Buzzard would audibly growl as he is struck in the head again. He would look as if he is about to charge forwards once more but there would be a stern voice from the side of the ring. 'Buzzard, that's enough'. Swat would move onto the mat, waving the pair away. 'Cool off and get check what your doing, you're better than that'.
With a low mutter Buzzard would turn to slink off, Splat following him. There would be a hollow thunk as he would receive a teasing thwack over the head from Splats staff.
Tannen would be panting heavily as he moves out of the ring to slump against the wall near Swat. This kind of combat was not something he had much experience in.
'I gotta say, for a kid you did good out there' Swat would say as he gestures for Anler to join him. 'Those two normally make a pretty formidable opponent, but you really showed them what's what, you should be proud of that'.
Back in the holdout chamber, the smoldering remains of the droideka were almost immediately replaced with a second popping out of the ground. It too would roll forward before springing up to the take the place of its fallen comrade.
Meanwhile the lone droid that Jackpot had nearly butcher would mindlessly march ahead with its attack. However as Jackpot had ducked back around the corner of the corridor, the shots harmlessly struck against the wall, but the droid had actually reached the dome now, and was marching its way towards the command centre.
The other squad of droids had also made it into the dome, and they had set their metalic sights on the squad leader, Gunslinger. Their shots would smash into the console he had been using to direct the battle, effectively pinning him down but still being unable to hit him. Something was going to have to be done, and fast. If they reach the console it's all over for the squad.

Anler smiles modestly, returning the training weapon to the rack. "I'm sure they would have taught me a lesson if we had been shooting blasters," he says. "Jedi train in hand-to-hand combat, it is the most elegant way of fighting, I find. Although Tannen might need a few lessons before trying again," he says.

And what little strain Anler spent has been recovered.
"Hmm, I believe I have nothing else to add." Doc says. "So, is there anything else that needs to be done?"

CT-2112 would shake his head. "Not that I can think of right now. I mean, given infinite time and resources, I'm sure I could come up with more, but with their frames and the options here, I think that's a good start."
"Jackpot! Finish off that clanker!"
Gunslinger leaves the relative safety of the bunker to hand the extra thermal detonator to Slugger, passing dangerously close to the droideka. "Slugger! Drop this inside its shield (indicating the destroyer droid), then make haste for the bunker."
Gunslinger maneuvers to pass a thermal detonator to Slugger, then returns posthaste to the command center (2 maneuvers, I guess, so suffer 2 strain).
Swat would nod, glancing over his shoulder at the worn out Tannen. 'Yeah, problem is he isn't going to have much longer left here. You guys will be shipping out soon most likely. I figured that he'd be some kind of super fighter like most of you jedi lot, afterall, we were told by recruitment he could use the force'. He'd shrug as he passes the thought off. 'Recruitment must have brought him in for some reason. Maybe it'll just take time to figure it out'.
He would turn to shout at clones in the room. 'Alright boys, break into pairs for sparring! I think this has shown us we've still got a long way to go to be combat ready!' The clones would do as commanded while Swat turns back to the jedi. 'Well as far as I'm concerned I'll be giving a good review of your ability to master Shaak Ti, you'll have to look after the new kid though till he gets some proper combat experience'.
Back in the medi-bay the Kaminoan would shake her head to Doc's question. 'I think that covers your training for today. I would recommend taking some time to rest, you have done good work today'.
Meanwhile the supervisor would chuckle at 2112's words, shaking his head. 'Looks like we've got a true engineer. Alright kid, you can head off for now. If you're fast there'll still be some food in the canteen'.
As Anler, Doc and 2122 finished up their training it had reached the early evening on Kamino. Usually evening meals would be served, but training at the facilities here meant that regular meals and sleeping hours were few and far between. Swapar in particular took great pleasure in keeping his trainees on their toes. Still, at this time of day one could usually get hold of some food if they were quick.
"Thank you for you guidance," Doc said to the Kaminoan before leaving.
"Hmm...think I can catch some dinner before Swapar comes out again." Doc heads towards the canteen, managing to make it easily. Grabbing a tray, he got some food and sat down in an empty table.
"Wonder if anyone else from Cyclone is finished for now," he thought. But at this point, he could relax a bit. Doc had improved, but there was still more to work on.

Unable to get a read on his sensors, Mynock decides to increase their units speed and advance towards allies. “ Alright men, let’s see if this Seppie wants a chase! Let’s move out towards the boys who need help at full speed and see if we can’t find a tactical advantage! ” CT-6180 commands.
CT-2112 made his way to the mess and got his allotted food ration. He went and sat down at one of the nearby tables, glancing at a holo-tablet with some schematics on it. Unsurprisingly, he ate mechanically, simply providing his body with fuel while his mind focused on the text in front of him. Of course, given the quality of the chow, it's probably better he didn't actually devote any attention to what he was eating. He reached into his pocket and pulled a small earbud, and placed it in his right ear. He tapped an icon on the tablet, and shortly after his foot began to tap to some rhythm, his head bobbing up and down. Eventually, his hands took part too, unconsciously using his knife and fork as drumsticks.
The self appointed second in command of the walker unit would nod. 'Well you heard him! Let's get running!' Wit that there hydraulics of the walkers would kick into action as they sprint in the direction of the blip on their radar. This is what these walkers excelled at, speed and agility. They would be able to see their target in no time at all, especially as it was heading right for them.
Soon they would be able to see a narrow plume of dust being thrown up from the vehicle as it approaches across the reddened dessert. In a few minutes their target would be clear. It was a NR-N99 Persuader Class Droid Enforcer, a snail tank. These beasts hadn't been seen in the battle of Geonosis, but as new enemies were identified, the simulations were updated. These were popular with the separatists for combat in heavily defended or urban environments. They could roll over a bunker with its crushing treads without a second thought. It may not be in its ideal environment, but this was not an enemy to be sniffed at. It had thick armour plating and these walkers were not designed for this kind of target.
'CT6180, be advised this target is a serious threat. Your walkers may need to get out of there if you can't end this quickly' the voice of the trainer would state over the com unit. A decision had to be made, fight or flight. Neither would be without risk, and the clones also had their objective to think about.
Walker squad activates punch it to move to speed 3 and suffer 1 strain, moves to short range of target.
Tank moves to close range of the walkers.
Jackpot recognises that Slugger will need another distraction and pops up over the barricade dropping one of the B1's and drawing the Droikea's fire.
Mynock shouts “ Snail Tank! We need more lethal gunnery to penetrate its hull! Advance towards our other assault force! Evasive maneuvers!”. The clone wasn’t sure how to handle the vehicle other than to lose it and attempt to secure the remaining objective.
Anler takes the time to take a quick shower and change his clothes before heading to the mess hall to get something to eat. Although he has never been a glutton, he has always loved trying out food from different cultures and species. Nothing like that was on offer here. Only bland food that manages to fulfill the dietary requirements of the clones while doing absolutely nothing for the taste buds. The Jedi Padawan knows he could get a better meal if he asked for it, but he never does. If he is to be a part of the team, sharing the discomforts with his men was part of the package.
He takes his tray with three different types of paste and a chewy stick of something that might once have been alive to the table where Doc is just finishing his meal. Taking a seat without asking might be rude in the Jedi Temple, but here it is expected. The Jedi Padawan puts his trey down and sits, trying to decide if he should start with the drab-brown colored goo, which he knows tastes less bad than the other two, or if he should save it for last. He decides to start with that, since his meals have been interrupted often enough, making it a real possibility today like any other day.
As he eats, he nods at Doc. "I hear we might be shipping out fairly soon. You think you and the boys are ready for some real action?"
Doc said, " Ready as we can be, Commander, even if we don't look like it sometimes." He raised his head up to point out CT-2112 drumming along on his earbuds. "Hmm, wonder what nickname should we give him."
He eats another spoonful before continuing on.
"And you? How'd you do on your test?"
The walkers pilots would glance at one another before wheeling the walker around. 'Copy that! Pull back boys!' The walkers would begin to sprint across the baked landscape as the snail tank gives chase. 'Hey boss! You're going to need to call in an air strike or something to deal with that thing!'
The walkers truly were fast compared to the tank, and in a few minutes were able to put a sizable gap between them. The tank would fire several rounds at the walkers as they run, but at that range they were largely ineffective. The shots exploded as they his the sand, showering the troopers every now and then.

Walkers move to medium range of the chasing tank.
Slugger took the Detonator handed to him and again rolled it under the Droideka's sheild. This time the Droid was still standing after the explosion. " Droideka's still up. This is gonna hurt. " Thankfully it seemed that the explosion did manage to fry the ray shields.
As the walker's hydraulics move and shocks bounce up and down during the chase across the orange sand, Mynock replies back to the trooper " Agreed! Stay on course ". " Geonosis Command this CT-6180, we have a NR-N99 Persuader Class Droid Enforcer at these coordinates. Requesting air support; AT-RT cannot penetrate target, over " he reports.
