Alliance Fleet (First try & needs some tweaking)

By MoffSeerdon, in Star Wars: Armada Fleet Builds

Hello everyone. I'm looking for some help and suggestions with my rebel fleet as I haven't really played them at all. I'd like to keep the liberty, one Nebulon and one CR90 if possible but as I just like the ships, otherwise happy to hear any advice.

I'm not sold on the Objectives suite either so of you think there are anything I could change up feel free to.

swapping the x-wings for Shara Bey and 3 A-wings would really beat up the enemy squadrons, and it would save you 2 points.

This fleet would jive better with Madine as commander. As I find liberty fleets, I'm going to page who I always page: @Vergilius . He is an expert on Madine Liberties and Madine.

Putting Major Derlin on the MC80 would make it way tougher, or Raymus can work fine too.

Engine techs are really nice on big ships.

Also, what expansions do you have?

If you're just playing around for fun, then yes, you can do about anything.

I'd agree with anonymousguy that Madine would probably work better given what you want to fly. You can also do some strange things with deployment and speed 3 on the Nebulon-Bs, while still keeping them on target throughout.

For squadrons minimum, Shara+As is far better than what the X's will do. You still really want a Bright Hope/Toryn though. Dropping to a CR90 from the other Nebulon might free up the points in your list for that. I'm not sure a Nebulon-B really needs an SFO, but that's only a point shaved.

And yes, Derlin, Raymus or SFO can really help out the Liberty.

And I'm still convinced that even outside of Madine, Engine Techs is still a better buy on the Liberty itself.

And if you're going to run low on squadrons, you might find that dropping that second Nebulon-B into flotillas really adds a lot by setting up your Liberty's shots, and by getting more points for upgrades and/or additional squadrons.

So there you have it. Knock yourself out with some fun. :)

I don't have much so far in the way of expansions really only just getting started. I have...

Core Set ships, plus Liberty, CR90 & Nebulon

Then also an ISD, Interdictor, & additional Victory

Cheers thanks for the advice I'll take a look at Madine the squadrons and flipping some ships about. Do you have any suggestions for the objective options and the bid?

So I had abit of a mess around with the fleet and made some tweaks. Sadly I couldn't afford Raymus, Derlin or Toryn. Or engine techs. So settled on Lando to help the Liberty
