Great work man, this is just what I needed. Only issue I've had so far is being unable to select a colour as there are no red/blue circles. Not sure if this is just an issue my end tho.

Shd be fixed now!

Sorry, I missed that this was a question when I read it the other day. For $20, I think I'll pass. When it goes on sale, I may reconsider.

Yeah, I just looked at the price today. If anybody wants to post when it goes on sale, you may have another player. Until then, I'll be sticking to the FLGS.

Yup sounds great! Go for it!

Just finished it! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1156860210&searchtext=runewars

All of daqan and waiqar stuff are out (yup including death knights, wraiths, crossbowmen and Outland scouts)

will be working on the uthuk and latari once I get some time.

Sorry to say it's not scripted as I don't know how to. I might learn if I get the time tho!

Feel free to sound out if you find bugs and stuff!

im not a modeler either, so I used a lot of warhammer fantasy models mean time. Any talented modellers out there?

I want Uthuk... :P I will give it a shot then for sure.

Same, let us know when it drops price.

Put it in your steam wishlist. Steam will send you an email during sales for it.

Yeah, TTS is the bomb. People play all kinds of things on there all the time. Plus it's great for working on concepts for your own games!

Yep will be up for this when its on sale as well.

Not a bad start.

I had a play with the mod and a few things popped up. Specifically how to add additional trays to exisiting units. I placed them next to the unit, selected all the trays and opened up the 'joint' menu through left click. When I selected 'collision' on all the tabs it joined the unit. However when i went to move the newly formed unit let's just say it 'exploded'.

How do you add trays without the rather rapid disintegration of the entire unit?

Ah yes haha. The fireworks is a problem haha.

You gotta just copy a tray plus the models and paste them. Then use the joint tool and link the new tray base to an existing tray.

It is a weird kink, but until I figure out some programming to automate that, it'll have to do for now :/

I wonder if FFG could use their VG Battle lore assets of the same stuff to make an official TTS module.

This will be a great tool for play testing. Testing out all kinds of strategies. I am intrigued when Uthuk come for this and the initial cost is on discount.

Works well! good job. A few suggestions:

1) add into the "how to play" set the rotate to 15 degrees as it makes rotating the dials better.

2) the scale of the table is off. a 4 move gets you half way across the table. I guess they need to be scaled.

I've actually been finding that setting rotate to 45 benefits this mod a lot, most of the time.

Had to import a lot of missing upgrade cards, but I think I've got a game set up. Will test later with a friend. :)

Tabletop Simulator is on sale now! Get it on Steam for 50% off!

I played around with it last night but had quite a rough time getting it to work. I kept dropping units and they would fall through the table or scatter in all directions before a message came up saying the unit was destroyed. Once, this crashed the game.

I also can't remove figures and trays.

To remove trays/figures, hold the cursor over the object you want to remove, then press the 'delete' key.

Adding trays and figures back is more finnicky, which is a bummer for Reanimates' Regenerate ability.

Parakitor and I have this now and it's actually pretty fun (when the pieces don't fall through the table or explode like supernovas). The biggest issue is that the Uthuk are not in the mod yet. I'm willing to do a bit of work to add them, but I need a place to start. I need to get a hold of the models used for the cards and dials that already exist so I can make them the right size. Can anybody give me pointers on how to find these?

@tieren seems to have abandoned this project; hopefully he won't mind me taking over. :) I've got the Uthuk and Latari implemented, as well as all the upgrade cards (I think!) and changed a few of the models. Here's my version of the mod: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1248118173

Let me know what you consider top priorities for further development and I'll see what I can do! I have a moderate amount of casual programming/scripting experience (none in TTS, but I think I can pick it up if I work at it) and I'm examining the possibility of 3d-scanning the real models using a cell phone. We'll see what comes of it. :)

One of my first goals is probably going to be putting 3d terrain into the game, since I like using it a lot and it's really easy to add.

Sweet! Go for it :)

Big thanks to you for getting the ball rolling with the first mod!

Thanks! Tried contacting you on Reddit about it, but when I didn't get a reply I assumed you had moved on.

For real, I definitely wouldn't have had the inspiration to do all this without you starting it.

I didn’t get a notification from you. I think it was from another account.

lemme know if you need help with scripting. I’m pretty okay with lua stuff. I’ve been working on the Star Wars legion mod more nowadays

Is there enough demand for a good tts mod? I kinda stopped cuz it felt like there wasn’t enough of a demand. If people want it enough I don’t mind helping out

Parakitor and I will use it. Can't speak for anyone else, but that's 2 people.

I've already got 41 subscribers since I posted it up less than 24 hours ago, so demand seems pretty high. :) I think there's a lot of people quietly playing and not really mentioning much about it.

I sent you a friend request on Steam, tieren; it looks like once we're friends I can add you as a contributor and we can work on it together. I've heard of LUA, and the little I've glanced at it doesn't look too bad, but I would love some help if you're already comfortable with it. Automated movement would speed things up a lot, and list import would be really sweet too.
