So "trusted ally" on MHD-19, would it be good?
I like healers bit the normal 3 he heals feels like not enough. With ally be gets 1 more at least.

I think Trusted Ally would work great w/ MHD-19.
Provided that you don't mind taking 6 deployment points away from objective running, making at least one attack per round, etc. I'd like to see an MHD-19/JK Luke list.
I really like the idea of having Trusted Ally MHD just follow around a Rancor or a Bantha.
Veteranarian Bot.
I think MHD is an underrated skirmish unit. His command card is amazing. Just a matter of positioning him right and keeping him alive long enough to be worth it.
Though he's useful enough that he might draw fire off of your more valuable targets which sort of evens things out?
Yeah his command card is insane. I played against him in an IG list w/ 3 UGs and I knew I had to kill him first. I still lost the game by 2 points, but I think one shoting MHD was a good call (BT's 4 dice attack cleans up nice sometimes). With that new rebels only command card that allows you to roll the red die to recover, a rebels recover list could become legit (at least I hope) along w/ heart of freedom, trusted ally, motivation, survivalist, R2D2, etc.
i'd really like Advanced Comms on MHD-19 ![]()
I am looking into a recover list with rebels, jk Luke with motivation and possibly wookies (maybe even elites!) because of their health. If you are going to use recover you need models with enough health so you can use it right?
Survaivalist could be added to but would be useless on some maps.
Recover becomes better with higher defense. The higher the defense, the more effort the opponent has to invest to deal that damage again.
The best trick with MHD I've seen so far was IG taking his last three damage with Blaze of Glory and I ignored IG for the rest of the round. And as his last activation that round my opponent activated MHD to heal IG. Next round first activation IG shoots, Opportunistic, runs of 10 spaces out of my range. Game breaker by MHD.

I had MDH follow around a plain old wampa last night. It was neat. They eventually both died but the time and resources they soaked up was impressive.
Just thinking about the title of your thread, I hope we get Doctor Aphra as an Imperial support figure eventually.
For those that don't know she's the one that (loosely) created BT-1 and 0-0-0 in the comics. Works for Vader. Fun character.

Not "created" so much as "stole" ![]()
Having her buff droids or bring some scummy rule breaking into Imperial would be great. Maybe:
•Doctor Aphra, Hired Technician
Mercenary
Smuggler - Spy
Cost: 4
~:+1D,+2Acc ; ~: Hide
~Distracting Fire: If this attack hits, the target becomes weakened. (Insta-FAQ: you just need the accuracy, not to do damage)
Quick Fix: Once during your activation, choose an adjacent friendly Droid or Vehicle. That figure recovers 2 [Damage] or gains 1 [Surge Power Token]
Health: 8
Speed: 4
Defense: W
Attack: BY
•Permanent Retainer
Skirmish upgrade
Imperial

Include this card in your army only if you have Darth Vader, BT-1, or 0-0-0 in your army.
You may include •Doctor Aphra, Hired Technician in your army, ignoring faction restrictions.
Command Card: Big Score
Aphra only
Use at the start of the round. You lose 2 VP and your opponent gains 2 VP.
At the end of the round, if Dr. Aphra is on the battlefield, your opponent loses 4 VP and discards a card at random. You gain 4 VP and draw a card.
This version of doctor Aphra will be a great complement to both the mercenary droid army and the Sorin Droid / vehicle Army. She can act as both a minor support character and a minor debuff character, as well as having access to a great suite of command cards. Her own Command Card has a steep initial price, but if you can keep her alive it will pay huge dividends.

Yeah, "created" wasn't the word I was looking for, "stole" is much better.
Very cool card design ideas other than that BY is a terrible attack so at 4 points so I'd consider an offensive buff to be closer to Hera's attack levels (who may be too good).

Yeah, that is definitely something I had in mind. That is why I gave her the ability to weaken without inflicting damage as she just pours out suppressing fire. I would consider a blue yellow yellow or a green yellow yellow. Blue green yellow is just a bit too good for four points and potent support ability.

Win a Worlds so you can design us some cards please! LOL. These are some great suggestions.

I would love to! Unfortunately the only way I'll ever design cards is to get hired because there's still a few better people out there at the game lol.
