Hey all,

I've been flying my U-wing a lot lately and I decided to give it a new coat of paint. I felt the stock paint, whilst detailed, was a little too stark for me, so this is what I ended up settling on.

Inspired by Laren Joma/Bistan's 'Blue Eleven' U-wing from Rogue One (better seen in EA's Battlefront).

Thanks! Yeah me too. I think its possibly my favourite looking rebel ship. I'm still trying to find that goldilocks build for it, but I'm enjoying it anyway.

Try Cassian with Adv. Sensors, Expert Handling & Experimental Interface. Crew & Torps to taste (I skip the torpedos & use Kyle & Kanan crew).

I have a very similar build I've been wanting to try. As yours is with Cass with Adv. Sensors and Expert Handling, but with Engine Upgrade, Kyle and Jan crew.

Awesome idea to use the Battlefront menu U-wing. Now, since the default model uses the paint job on Cassian's, we only need one that follows the scheme of the one shot down flying with Blue Squadron.

I've been hoping for a U-wing thread to pop up, just so I could slip my own amateur job in. Just some minor splashes over the existing paint, but I really wanted to see a U-wing marked red to match the T-65s out there, and did this one.

I did mine in white and dark blue to match my X-Wings. Any similarity to Rogue One examples is co-incidental but enjoyable.

Sadly, you don't seem to find a lot of oddball schemes for U-Wings out there (or at least I haven't seen many).

I've done a couple hotwheels U-wings since they're the same size and pretty close to the level of detail on the ffg model. The ffg model just has too many parts I like using in other kitbashes to ever survive on its own

You may have seen these before on my paint thread, but since we're sharing U-wing pics, why not re-post them?

Very nice! Love it.

My paint job is supposed to be 'Blue Eleven', Laren Joma/Bistan's U-wing from the movie, which is also the blue one from Battlefront. My paint job is not exact, but that's what I based it on anyway.

I'm thinking of picking up a second U-wing to mod like one on Lothal in Rebels; it looks like the dorsal set of engines has been removed, and the foils were shortened and stripped down to frame.

Nice! Ryders U-wing? I believe his is a UT-45 civilian U-wing.

If I get a second, I'd like to paint it like Saw Gerrera's.

Yeah Ryder's U-Wing would be awesome.

Now I think we need a Rouge One/Rebels/combo fix pack for the U Wing and T-65. I mean the T-65 is slowly being buffed, but come on- A U-Wing with a Ryder or Saw repaint and some super offense abilities and two escort T-65's with a new Hera pilot for the T-65 based on the show would be totally boss.

Alternativley we can just get a U-Wing fix with a totally movie accurate hot pink hot-rod U wing.
