A Jabba Question... but not THE Jabba question.

By ge0rd1eb4lls, in X-Wing Rules Questions

To the point.

If Jabba is on the field, my cloaked HWK will have the card and an Illicit token on that card. If I spend Cikatro Vizago, I spend the Cloaking Device card - except I don't. I spend the token. Having fulfilled the requirements of Cikatro Vizago, I may put on a different Illicit.

Could this leave me with Cloaking Device AND another Illicit on a 1 Illicit slot ship? Meaning i have the option to decloak and recloak once more in the game should I choose?

Yes I am aware it leaves me vulnerable to failing the Cloaking Device roll.

No.

Cikatro doesn't discard anything, he replaces your current illicit with a different one.

The only question would be whether the Illicit token stays on the new card or not.

Thats... actually nipped the whole thing out. **** it haha. They've used "replace" and not "discard" on Cikatro.

But it is a valid question about what happens to the Illicit token.

There's definitely no official ruling for this but I don't think you could keep the token on the new one. Jabba specifies that the tokens are placed on the cards during setup. So when Illicit 1 leaves play the token goes with it, it's inextricably attached to the card unless something says otherwise. When Illicit 2 comes into play it's not during setup so it doesn't get a token.
