Rieekan/Maz/Padme Mill Deck

By IceWarm, in Star Wars: Destiny

I played this deck at a local casaual event tonight. I had a lot of fun with it and milled quite a few cards from my opponent's deck with multiple ways to get shields to make the most out of Rieekan's ability.

You are gunning hard for the deck, but I don't see anything significant to hit their hand (except for Maz focus to a padme mill). Tough Haggler is an amazing upgrade for doing just that. Scout is the cheaper version.

You also have a lot of 1-cost cards, but not a significant form of resource generation. I always run Padme with double dealing. The upgrades you have are perfect for double dealing, and it gives you the latitude to use all of those cheap cards without really having to worry about budgeting.

Air superiority is good for rieekan (and survival in general), but it slows you down a lot. With your battlefield, I got the feeling that you want to play faster than a typical mill.

Those are my initial thoughts, and I do like the aggressive deck hitting.

My goal with the battlefield to to not be on it. I will gladly take shields over the battlefield. I can then safely use the battlefield with Ascension Gun. I had one game where I milked seven cards with All Quiet On The Front. I then finished the game with the discard side of Cunning.
