[ENLIGHTENMENT VICTORY] - [HOUSE RULE] - [CLAIM ALL 5 RINGS IN 1 ROUND]

Will any of you old school players integrate this mechanic into to your kitchen table games and schemes, post Legend of the Five Rings LCG release on 10/5/17?

How would you propose going about claiming all 5 Rings in a single Round?

Even with a cleverly done tweak to the rules to make that work, I don't think that "feels" right. Enlightenment is my favorite thing from Old5R, despite nearly never being balanced correctly (second favorite thing is kung-fu tattooed monks, though I preferred the brief time they had a Ring-based honor deck for Dragon monks to monk military).

That said, your proposal here would, to me, just seem like "if one player utterly completely dominates the other one is every way for one Round, they win", which doesn't feel right. Anyway, if Enlightenment it ends up in this game at some point - and I hope it eventually does - it would be nice if it was finally decently balanced.

WHY ALL CAPS? DO YOU THINK IT"S THAT IMPORTANT?

They've already put in the rules the potential for other win conditions from cards (which allows for them to cycle out). An Enlightenment Victory will probably be a set of 5 conflict cards you play as a reaction to claiming the appropriate ring. Not only would you have to claim each ring, but do it while holding the right card. This would make Enlightenment possible, but take several turns to do.
