I am assembling for my play group a list of cards that lets you get actions or effects of actions even if you get blocked. I am thinking about cards like Attanni mindlink, K4 etc. Does anyone have such a list already? If not, could the hive mind of the forum help me create one?

In part, due to the delayed effect - Fire Control System - if you've got a shot.

Basically anything that triggers without an action is unaffected by blocking. For example, C-3PO and Palp can serve as evades even if they were blocked.
Back in the day stress and blocking were big deals because they stopped you action and action tokens were one of the most powerful things. Now you got so many work arounds it isn't a big deal for a ship to skip its action step.
Edited by MarinealverIf you run ketsu onyo and have your Mobil and primary arcs lined up, then they can bump you, but you get to put a tractor token on them and move them so you can still attack.

I like playing 3 Green Squadron A-Wings with Snap Shot and Juke plus Jess Pava as the 4th ship. I use blocking to set the ship behind it with a Snap Shot.
Blocking still has its uses, but not nearly as powerful as it used to be.

That is more like augmented blocking. Also you don't even have to block just to do damage so it is far better than APL.

Not sure if this is your play groups goal, but I would say the only truly problem upgrades that make blocking an ineffective strategy (sometimes even to the point where a player WANTS to be blocked), are the first five@thespaceinvader shared, plus a side case of Genius and bomblets on Nym, which might be too specific to target.
