Turn ship around when caught by a weak tractor beam possible?

By ewebdevelopment, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Is it possible to turn the ship (e.g. TIE fighter with silhouette = 3) around while this ship is caught by a weak tractor beam from another ship with silhouette 3.

# Here is the situation:

Both, the TIE fighter and the player's ship, are in a space fight. The player's ship has caught a TIE fighter with a tractor beam. The front of the TIE fighter points into the opposite direction of the players ship. The TIE fighter wants to turn around to shoot at the playes ship.

Is this possible? Or how would you, as a GM, treat this?

I have no idea if the specifics of tractor technology has ever specified that. If it works as creating an inertia-less field, then no rotation would be possible. If it's just an overwhelming force in the direction of the emitter, then I see no reason a trapped ship couldn't alter other axes.

As a GM, and if I was saying it was possible, I would probably just let them spend a maneuver to rotate the ship's direction. I might toss in a setback die or two, given the overwhelming pull in one direction might cause difficulty in rotating against that direction. But for the most part, I'd be fine with it.

I mean, it means I get to let the other ship do the same to them, so their taking a big risk either way.

I'd say the answer is simply yes, if they succeed in the piloting check against the tractor beam's rating (eg F&D pg 164).

They'd probably succeed, too, as Piloting roll, at +3 boost from Tie Fighter Handling, vs Average difficulty (Light Tractor Beam - which has min Sil 4 to mount - though maybe there is a mod to allow heavier than normal weapons?)

The piloting roll would be their action, though, so would need a second to attack.
