Come over here! I'll switch with you any day! Like 7C if we are lucky.. :D

I know too much heat is horrible, I lived in Mexico for couple of years and I missed cool weather.

With cold, you can always put layers on. With hot (and humidity) you can't do much more than suffer.

Heh, as a wise man once told me, "there is only so much i can take off before the cops come for me."

Obviously the empire in a great need to conserve resources for the death star modified the servers coolant system to use the same liquid as the ships fuel. Basically it's like liquid cooling your house with gasoline. It's great until the power company overloads your breaker box and catches on fire and burns a hole in the piping.

but why they didn't have failsafes is beyond me. I guess returning antagonists is to much of an inquisition.;)

As an engineer, I can't help but facepalm a bit at the utter lack of failsafes and redundant systems in many movies. I mean, you spent how much on your shiny toy, and you can't even be bothered to pony up a little more to protect it so that it lasts longer than a day or two?

I didn't really feel like it was a super-kiddy show. Believe me, I know kid's shows, my little sister watches absolute dreck, it's insane.

But since Rebels was headed by the guys who worked on the much beloved Clone Wars (which was at first DESPISED), I knew it was only going to get better. Even though there are a couple of truly crap episodes.

Like the one where Hera kills a ship across the Galaxy by using her Droid to wirelessly transmit power/data back to a large vessel literally made of servers. WHAT THE ****.

Well, I don't really watch kids shoes so I can't actually make a real comparison, but early Rebel did feel pretty bad in this regard. From space whales to Hondo Ohnaka (who, unlike TCW Hondo, is simply a clown), I found early Rebels pretty hard to take seriously.

Then there's also the lore issue: I haven't really seen it touched here, but in other places people seemed unhappy that Rebels brought some changes to established canon that don't really fit into the bigger picture (for example, if the Empire had Interceptors and Defenders, why there were none to be seen anywhere in ANH?)

The same reason U-Wings and A-Wings weren't at the battle of Yavin.

I dunno.

Yup! I agree!

Well, the U-Wings makes sense (at least in the battle part) due to them being drop ships rather than traditional fighters. There are possible answers to why no A-Wings, but no official answers that I'm aware of.

I think it's because the battle of Yavin was filmed in 1976 and A-Wings weren't designed until several years later and it's all fictional and they can do whatever they like and Jesus Christ some people need better things to worry about.

Ole jake farrel was at Yavin in legends in a prototype a-wing which didn't have missile/torp slots and basically ran interference against tie fighters that would have ran into the main group. He survived the battle to.

sadly that story is legends now and I suspect that if this were to occur it would happen with the ghost group in a 5th season we know isn't happening.

Sheev, it's just a healthy lore discussion. Who do think you are, the senate?!

I dunno, that might happen in the latter part of season 4. Last thing I heard, we don't have the full season synopses, so there's still a possibility. Heck, there's still a possibility that Jake was a part of that.

To me, it is less worrying and more intriguing. I like the Star Wars Universe enough that I'm generally willing to theorize about in-universe explanations to deal with errors and the like. It's a fun little side activity when I'm doing something monotonous.

Sometimes it's useful to consider possible out-of-universe explanations.
