Nice job! I really enjoy these unit-by-unit talk-throughs.
When I've worked on my Skirmish Upgrade document, I been very hesitant to reduce Sorin's deployment cost. It is very powerful that he can share his surge ability to Focus... while just sitting idly on the board. However, now that we have the Emperor at Cost 8, Sorin almost has to be reduced to even be considered for a list.
Here's what I've got him currently in my design doc:

Bombardment, Advanced Firepower and Optimal Bombardment now affect figures within 3 spaces of you.
This essentially puts him at Cost 6 with a much-better Advanced Coms Systems for Cost 1.
