Nym Pirate Scout

im tinkering with a new scum list. Be interested in some feedback. I havent played it yet but im familiar with 3 ship lists and nym. I was previously running standard Dengar-Nym squad but wanted to try something diff from the norm that was still competitive.

FLYING THIS LIST

The scout is your frontline blocker. when i have to take shots on the bombers i'll look to get into range one to damage sponge a hit onto the scout with DTF.

TLT and primary weapon for the support bomber chip in damage. moving first is not ideal but this is where intel agent will help and i should be able to put myself at range 2-3 of a target most of the time.

PS10 Nym with adv sensors is a beast as im sure anyone reading this knows how effective he is at range control and in your face bomb drops. Nym does tend to be a primary target most times so thats where hanging close to the scout should help during engagement rounds as scout will keep some of the enemy ships from running right at Nym and melting him under a barrage of concentrated fire.

I think it'd be hard to fly that formation. The Scout wants to be in front of a lower PS ship, which also wants to remain at Range 1 of it. I think I'd have trouble flying the Pirate not to bump, but still remain within range. That wouldn't be an issue with a Lok Revanant, but getting the points for that might be tough. Meanwhile, if the Scout is in DTF range and blocking, then you're probably too close to use TLTs.

Maybe this is a great list for trying to use an Intimidation Scout. Pouring TLT shots into something with reduced agility seems great. To get that point for Intimidation, either dropping the Karthak Pirate down to a Y-Wing (Hired Gun with TLT, Unhinged, and Vectored Thrusters is 29 points, and moves after the blocking scout) or switching AdvS for FCS on Nym could work.

Alternately, I don't hate the idea of a dedicated DTF Scout who tries to fly in formation, but not necessarily to block. In which case, Tactical Jammer could be more handy than Intelligence Agent. Keep Nym close behind it, for both an extra die of agility, as well as drawn fire. Also, with advanced sensors, Nym can focus first, then just bump the Scout. Part of me wants to get very silly, and use a Manaroo with DTF to lead the way, with TJ; she'd peel crits, provide agility, as well as an extra token for Nym. She'd be 30 points with DTF, TJ, and Intel Agent, and would work nicely along side a PS4 Hired Gun with Unhinged and TLT at 27 points. Or get super weird, and fly Serissu with VI and Tractor Beam as the 3rd ship instead of a second TLT carrier. If you can hit with the tractor beam, that'd go a long way to making Manaroo's guns relevant, and you'd be able to squeeze in a Cruise Missile on Nym (who self-bumps Manaroo for a 5-dice Focus/TL attack?). That's almost certainly bad, but it's really late Eastern Standard Time.

Seems like a nice idea but why not replace tlt with autoblaster on Nym.
