This came up in our last game, is trading of influence tokens allowed amongst the players?
It came up when a Season Card forced the lowest bidder to place two runes in enemy territory, one of the players wanted to bribe the guy placing the runes to place his rune in a more secure location. We could not find anything that said either way whether influence could be traded.

If it doesn't explicitly say that you can, then I would be inclined to say that you can't.
If there is a rule that says "you may trade anything except X Y and Z" and Influence is not on that list, then I would say you can, but I'm not familiar with any such rule.
There is no rule that allows for trading or giving of Influence. The only way to "give" influence to another player is with a Tactics card that lets you give 1-4 to another player (from the supply) and they give you 1-4 back.
